This was beautiful. Changmin's voice is better than ever and Kyu is always so, SO stable and Chen matured a lot vocally too. It wasn't like DB5K's version ofc nothing can top that. It was just a different interpretation and I think they did right by the song.

Nothing will be the original...but this was pretty damn fucking close. They all sounded really good. Changmin hitting that Yoochun note. But as I watched this...I couldn't help but think of DB5K and when they performed...Like I could see them in my head singing the parts and everything.

The original is one of my all time favorite songs, Jongdae and Kyuhyun did an amazing job. This was a great interpretation and Changmin was feeling it omg. I don't know what to do with my emotions right now, DB5K were such a great group and they are so missed.

Hm. Well I know they sung more Korean medleys than Japanese, but they still do some of the old Japanese songs. Besides, how else are they going to end Japanese concerts without Somebody to Love? lol I don't think Bolero has been sung though. LITI maybe if I remember right.

lol I think the reason their voice sometimes sounds like Jaejoong's or Junsu's is because the backing track is too strong on those parts and those are their actual recorded voices lmao. Jaejoong and Kyunhyun's vocal tone is completely different for him to get Jaejoong's pitch and singing technique perfectly lol.

Not that I am saying they did not do a good job, they definitely did - just that some parts had pre-recorded voiced playing. I've watched the live of this performance of the five WAY too many times not to recognize the exact notes Junsu and Jaejoong used tbh.

Anyways when I see non-group members singing old songs I wish JYJ would give up the whole 'only five can sing the old songs' routine and sing old songs too. I miss their voices singing those songs.
