It has been reported that T-ara’s Jiyeon and actor Lee Dong Gun are currently dating.
According to an industry insider on July 4, Lee Dong Gun and Jiyeon have progressed their relationship into being a couple about two months ago. A source is said to have revealed, “It is true that the two of them are dating. They quickly became close in May while filming for the Korean-Chinese co-production ‘Encounter’ (working title) together.”
The rumors kicked off after photos of the two on a date began to make its rounds online and have been gaining much attention. In the pictures, the two of them can be seen being affectionate with one another, as they hold hands.
While there are also reports stating that the photos may have been taken in the middle of filming their new movie, as filming is still going on, an industry source asserted, “I am aware that they are preparing to share an official press release to officially acknowledge their relationship.”
This issue is especially earning interest as there is a 13-year age difference between the two stars.
It is said that Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun’s sides are both currently looking into the truth behind the photos.

Both sides have officially confirmed that Jiyeon and Lee Dong Gun are currently in a relationship.
On July 4, a representative of MBK Entertainment shared with TV Report, “It is true that Jiyeon is currently dating Lee Dong Gun. They became close after filming their movie together.” A representative of FNC Entertainment also confirmed, “After checking with the actor himself, the two are in the stage of meeting with interest. It has been about a month since they have gotten close after first meeting for movie filming.”
