Flaming Charisma Minho to Make Acting Comeback as Lead on New Drama 'Friends 2015'

SHINee’s Minho has been cast as the lead role in cable channel OnStyle’s first drama “Friends 2015 (working title),” which focuses on romantic relationships between young guys and girls.


Minho especially caught the audience’s attention when he recently did some comical acting on “SNL Korea.” An affiliate of the broadcast industry claims, “Minho has the looks and a trendy kind of charm. His acting skills have improved since his debut, too. Fans can expect his growth as an actor through this drama.”

Friends 2015, to be broadcasted in October, will be a 45 minutes drama in which the 1st ep consists of 3 parts of 15 minutes long.

Key to Host new cooking Show 'Make an Order' on Olive TV


SHINee’s Key will be hosting a cooking program. Make an Order’s first broadcast will be aired on Olive TV on July 16th at 8:40 pm (kst).

‘Make an Order’ will be broadcasted live through Daum TV pot on July 1st at 11.30 am (kst).
On this show, viewers can make an order (through Olive TV’s homepage) to the hosts (Key and Hyunmoo) and chefs.

Key, Hyunmoo, and special chef (guest) will cook based on menu that viewers request. They will get 3 orders on each episode.

‘Make an Order’ PD, “On existing cooking programs, viewers aren’t able to taste the food. But on this program, viewers can taste the food which is personally cooked by celebrities and chef. That’s what makes it very different from any other cooking programs.

I don't like Minho's acting and the cheesy dramas he's always casted in, but god knows they need more exposure since SM's promotions for View were utter shit and I can see them not even promoting the repackage, so...get all the exposure you can tbh.

i love cheesy dramas and i really like minho but i couldn't stand TTBY .... it was hard to watch for various reasons
like the article says i hope to see some improvement in his acting

... that totally flew over my head. wow, shinee is REALLY getting it in with individual activities surrounding their repack, huh. onew's filming dotc right now and has his postponed webdrama for the future. minho has that movie he finished filming last month plus this drama and mucore (and apparently dream team again soon). key has those three shows, his musical and mcd. jjong has blue night. taemin has... nothing, lmao.

bb is becoming a variety sensation. i can see why tbh. i do miss onew being on all the variety shows like back in the day, but at this point he's burnt out and tired alot so having a schedule like Key's would be a nightmare. that said, i hope we get more small skits or little guest appearances like the one for SNL world report cuz that was hilarious and adorable. they brought back his ttakbam of DOOM! <3

i think it made an impact since it first appeared to any shawol who heard it. it was so bad that it kinda became awesome in the way that B horror or action movie schlock from the 70's/80's is hilarious. Minho's true talent is being so awful at rapping that he single-handedly generated a meme that made it into both korean and international shinee fandoms. it was great to see him finally acknowledge it in like THE BEST WAY on SNL. may Minho the "Rap God" live on forever in our hearts.

i was hoping his SNL shenanigans would net him some more COMEDY roles cuz the kid has the siwon talent for just dropping image and being ridiculous by embracing his own inherent ridiculousness in direct contrast to their original images. the second minho gave up on being cool and namja he became genuinely likable 2 me (he was never cool in the first place so this was really an upgrade in many ways haha).
alas it looks like more of cheesy/forced "dream boy/flower boy" schtick. oh well. at least the eps are short, perhaps i'll catch some of his clips and they wont be painfully cringe worthy. legit the only time i enjoyed him in TTBY was when he was "acting" drunk (that was legit so bad it was good. cuz he p much dropped character for a whole 5 mins.) and the best bit was super tiny but so hysterical that i remember it as if it was yesterday *wipes tear*. (him and sulli were walking into a basement or smth? and they hear/see smth walk past them. then minho jumps up and SHRIEKS "AHHH THAT SURPRISED ME!!" obv funnier in korean but i cried with laughter and then i cried again cuz that wasnt the whole drama. (at least it introduced me to the gorgeous and /actually/ good at acting Kang Ha Neul)
