On July 3, it is reported that Yang Jiwon crashed her Chevrolet into two taxis that were stopped at a red light in the lane next to her at 11:30 p.m. on July 2 when she was on the way to Seongsu-dong from the direction of the Seongsu Bridge in Apgujeong.
The police reported that "It was not drunk driving according to the blood alcohol test results. Miss Yang went back home after completing the insurance process." A representative of B2M Entertainment addressed the incident, "It was an accident caused by Yang Jiwon's carelessness. She drove under conditions of fatigue."
The representative added, "She received a cast on her finger, and she has to rest for two weeks. Another driver in the accident also suffered minor injuries, and we have settled the accident with the drivers involved. I'm not shielding Jiwon, but I'm pissed that once again B2M isn't doing more to clear the air. mentioning her minor injury and their non-existent comeback that the Korean public isn't even checking for is going to help how..? she's not the victim.. this is one of those situations where a standard kpop damage control PR statement is in order, not scattered responses to phonecalls. fuck B2M. and as expected, knetizens have already likened this to Seungri's accident (what came out of that btw?)...

Date: 2015-07-03 09:46 am (UTC)Idk... For now, I relate to this accident more than Seungri (who seemed to be speeding, if I remember correctly). Falling asleep while driving happens more easily than you would think; you don't even need to be sleep deprived (night driving, or just a really even road, etc) and the car immediatly dozes off the sides. It's really quick and really dangerous. I'm glad nobody was hurt too.
B2M isn't handling this well...
