I aint got nothing against sexy shoots for male magazine- I tend to enjoy them even.

But honestly GQ or not the milk shot is gross. Like- I wish I didn't have to spell it out but it seems I might for a stronger impact- a picture that makes Hyosung look like she has semen pouring out of her mouth (because no one is thinking oops she got messy with her milk) is far from the realm of "sexy photo for male magazine" and really gross and uncomfortable.

the styling itself is good, because I find simple clothes like that very sexy, but the blank face and the hazed eyes in the pictures make sit all feel super icky almost as if she was forced to do it and the milk picture is just a huge no.

all of these poses just seem so forced and unnatural that it makes me, as a viewer, incredibly uncomfortable. it's not impossible for women to pose sexy without it being male-gazey, so this shoot fell flat for me, not so much because of the model but because of how bad the director of photography must have been for her shots to come out this unflattering. it's just sad to me that they really exploited the fact that hyosung is generally associated with a sexy concept and designed this shoot just to cater to that, because in most cases this wouldn't fly with nearly any other female idol. i'm not even a fan, but she deserves so much better than this.
