Jimin and Mina's Waist Sizes Measured on Weekly Idol appearance

On the June 24 episode of MBC Every1′s variety show “Weekly Idol,” AOA appeared as guests. During one segment in particular, the viewers ask AOA questions that they have.

Since AOA is known for their thin figures, there were many questions regarding this subject. To answer the questions, the members began to measure each other’s waists.

Jimin, who is known for her mannequin-like body, measured a 19.5 inch waist with some help from her bandmates. Afterwards, Mina gives it a go, and with much pushing and pulling, she records an unbelievable 17.9 inches, surprising everyone.

With this, not only did Mina establish herself as the member with the thinnest waist, but she even beat KARA Goo Hara‘s record of 19 inches.

Meanwhile, AOA recently released “Heart Attack” to join the rush of summer comebacks.

Bloody hell. It wouldn't be possible for me to have a waist that size. I'm 5 foot nothing and have a tiny frame but even at my thinnest I had a 24 inch waist. I would die if I tried for those numbers.

The wording + the fact that everyone had to get in the way of the camera so that the measurement wasn't visible suggests that they're just yanking the tape as hard as possible rather than actually measuring their waists.


Measuring properly, I'm between 25~26, but if I pull hard I can get down to 22ish. And that's with abs in the way.

What goes on in these idiots heads? Let me measure the size of your waist for fun? Who does that for fun? Couldn't they just choose another game? I've seen plenty on this damn show. A dance challenge? They love to do those. Some kind of mini game? For real. They made the AOA episode about Jimin looking like Samuel L Jackson and their fitness, making them stretch and suck in their stomach. Ugh.
