Pledis to release more signed copies of 17 Carat

According to MWAVE's Meet & Greet page, fans who missed out on purchasing a signed copy of SEVENTEEN's debut mini album 17 Carat may soon have another shot.  Due to increased demand for the album, Mwave had to limit the number of copies they were able to sell to 1,000 and several other outlets, like yesasia, sold out of the signed albums as well in a short period of time.  Several hours ago, however, Mwave released this official statement:

"Hello, this is Mwave. Due to the unexpected high volume of requests and inventory issues, we unavoidably had to limit sales on SEVENTEEN’s albums. However, out of consideration for the fans, SEVENTEEN’s agency has offered 100 additional CDs. Sales for the additional 100 CDs will open on Thursday, June 18 at 5 p.m. KST. Thank you."

i bought one of these from the mwave shop last week and my order is still processing! i was all excited cuz shipping said it was only supposed to take 5-7 days. i didnt know it was gonna take that long just to process my order lol

My understanding was that they don't ship out the stuff until the meet and greet actually happens so it can sometimes take up to a month for them to ship out. That's just what I've seen on seventeen blogs with all the questions that people are asking about it.

yeah i just went on the website and was poking around and i think that's what happens. because then if they pick my picture (????) i get it signed or something lmao. idk. i wasn't aware i was supposed to upload my picture on there lol

It's that they pick I think 15 of the 19 people on each page of people that bought the album and you get an additional special gift with your album or something like that.

"The shipping dates will be listed on the MWAVE store page, but they usually start shipping the albums out a good 2/3 weeks after broadcast, and then (in the US with standard shipping) it arrives about a month later--so, these albums will probably arrive early-mid July...but, they will all be autographed! If more than 1 album is ordered it comes in a box and if only 1 is it's in a package, but it's in good condition nonetheless. The only difference is that the albums lack a plastic wrapping and instead have the covers autographed! Thus, all the contects (photocards, posters, etc.) should be present!"

"So if you see Seventeen’s “All-star Fans” board, it says it has “20 profiles” (20 pages). Every page has 49 tiles. Later, Seventeen will select 15 tiles from each page. The selected 15 (from each page) will get Seventeen special badges."

dw about it until after the meet and greet! And be prepared to wait even more too. I bought a Bangtan meet and greet album and I was honestly about to call in and ask about it but it just came suddenly one day, perfectly autographed and all. :)

yeah most groups are meant for teens and i think a lot of people forget that and call any group younger than 2PM babies even though they're really not for us... they don't make fandom names and do fanservice and put on the bunny ears during fansigns for 27 year old so&so's.

Oh wow. Has something like this happen before? I was pleasantly surprise that MWAVE sold out of the signed albums in about 2 days. Yesasia and Kpoptown also sold out of the autographed album REALLY quick too.
