What group would you choose to promote in Western music markets? What are some things you'd make sure happen? What are things you'd purposely advoid to have your group succeed?
i'm not really a fan or anything but cl seems like a pretty solid choice. yg artists have always seemed more mainstream than idol but i think a female act would do better than big bang, best of all just her. that said, i'm sure akmu could find their audience with the right promotion, they can't be faulted as artists and that indie-ish sound seems to be trending. still, this is only in theory really, they're just kids and have enough on their plates.
i really wouldn't know how to get the western market to take notice, how do you even play that game? general widespread lowkey (at least) racism and the struggles it brings would be an obstacle. looking at 1d, 5sos etc. that's probably the biggest thing that would stand in the way of exo building a massive western fanbase. they're already doing well enough with that without meaning to.
I'm going out tomorrow's night and I said to a friend that maybe we can go this sunday's morning to the beach. This means I will sleep less than 3 hours. I'm having a dilemma if I should say no to the beach. Yeah I know is just between fun and even more fun, and I'm the worst by making it a big deal lol Is this was 5 years ago maybe I will sleep in the beach (the "going out" area and the beach are a couple of minutes away) with a bag with the things for the beach and wait my friend there. But my body can't do these anymore. Funny how I have a lot of worst problems but this is what has been in my mind all the day *sigh*
Alright omona, I need a lot of help! So I'm thinking about attending kcon this year because, why the heck not?!, but I do have some concerns. My main concern is that, if I go, transportation and lodging is most important. I'm not from LA and I don't know anyone in the area that I could crash with -- for anyone who has gone or is familiar with that area, how easy is it to navigate using public transport ? Or if I can get a car, how easy for someone not familiar with the area to move around? I'd be willing to shell out for a hotel because I love hotels, but if I can even get to the venue, then it's a bust lol
Also important, I guess kcon is a multiday thing, do different groups perform on different days, or is it the same lineup?
Any help or info would be great! I know kcon has had issues in the past, but it looks like they're cleaning up their act this time around
last year if i remember correctly it was a few artists each day, so nobody performs twice, but of course it may have changed. i doubt it would though. sorry i couldn't help w anything else!
i think i might quit my (shitty) job next month and move across the country. i have an aunt that i can stay with for awhile, but no job, friends or any idea of what it's really like there. i need a change of scenery.

i'm only 17 but i did move from england to france last year w my family, though none of us were well-acquainted with the country, knew anybody in the area or even spoke much french. we're going to travel europe over the next few years. honestly i'd say go for it, you can't go too wrong, life's short. you can always come back if it doesn't work out right? if there's any way to sort out anything jobwise before you go that would be a lot less stressful i'm sure but if you need a change you need a change. saving up money is probably the best you can do to prepare yourself. steve jobs once said something great about how you have to just make the decisions you need to make in life and trust it'll work out- you can't connect the dots looking forward, but it'll all fall together.
does anyone know a good cleansing oil? i've tried etude real art, the moisture ver, and idk if i've been using it properly or it just not made for my type of skin (oily in summer, dry in winter, overally sensitive with rosacea and breakouts). that oil did clean my face yet i always had problems with washing it off, like the emulsyfing thing? i always felt little paranoid when i could feel traces of it while washing my face with washing gel afterwards.
I use Josie Maran Argan Oil but I don't use it the way directed. I put a few pumps of it on my dry face and massage it into my skin and breaking down my waterproof mascara Then I use a small wet towel ( I wet it down with the hottest water I can handle so I can squeeze the water out, make sense?) to wipe it off. I keep rinsing out the "dirty" towel until all of the oily residue is gone Then out of sheer laziness I just let the water evaporate from my face and apply moisturizer
If I use it too many days in a row, I get dry patches around my mouth area but it did cut down the amount of oil my face produced in the summer time and I never use a cleansing gel afterwards.
Regretting my bigbang tickets. Got tickets to LA and Anaheim, but taking another person to each show, and I paid for their tickets. Kinda want to uninvite them and sell all the tickets and just buy better seats just for me. On the other hand, they're kind enough to go with me, and seem chill about it, and one even promised to buy me tour merch. I mean, I already have the tickets, so why an I freaking out?

I watched EXO Next Door since I shelled out for the $1/mo. It was surprisingly good. I've been watching Producers and School 2015. Husband has started watching dramas with me. We watched most of Modern Farmer and some of The Girl Who Sees Smells.

i have had a very long relationship with the ace attorney franchise that started a good many years ago when an amazon review wrongly informed me the games didn't need to be played in order and set me off starting with t&t. i played bits of a few of the games when i realised there was a story and fell in love with it and the charas but i always meant to play them all through properly and now i'm fiiinally doing it. i'm on jfa case 2, first time playing. i'm so emosh. i love edgewright and i have some feelings about phoenix and maya too.
