돈만 못 갚는다고 빚쟁인가요 다시 돌아와서 그 마음들에게 다 갚을게요 기다려요
— ZELO (@ZELO96) June 3, 2015
Are you a creditor if you can’t pay back money
When I come back I’ll repay all those feelings
Wait
비겁한 도덕을 가르치는 어른들을 이해하자 사회란 그런 곳이라며 합리화 시키지만 그 분들이 버티고 견디며 지켜오던 삶의 무게를 존경하자
— Bang yongguk (@BAP_Bangyongguk) June 8, 2015
Let’s understand the adults who teach cowardly morals. They rationalize it by saying that’s the kind of place society is but let’s respect what they had to endure and to protect the weight of life.
하지만 답습하지 말자 어른들이 지켜온 숭고함은 어쩌면 더 독하고 당당하게 정의로움을 이야기하는 나의 자랑스러운 아들, 딸들을 위한 의식이였다고 생각하자
— Bang yongguk (@BAP_Bangyongguk) June 8, 2015
But let’s not follow them. But let’s think of it as perhaps the nobility the adults protected was for the consciousness of my proud sons and daughters to to speak of justice more strongly and fairly.
이젠 우리가 비겁한 도덕이 아닌 진짜 도덕을 어른들에게 말할수 있는 사람이 되자
— Bang yongguk (@BAP_Bangyongguk) June 8, 2015
Let’s be the people to speak of real, not cowardly morals to the adults.

Date: 2015-06-09 12:58 am (UTC)Before being here for your entertainment they are hard working men and women tying to make a living as much as the next guy. It may seem glamorous but it doesn't change the fact that they provide work against pay. It's called a damn job.
Issues with your employment contract/employees are common in every industry and sector.
Artists don't owe you anything that forces them to not deal with their personal professional issues- regardless that they're a public figure. It's /literally/ their business. And even though people are salty about the amount they make- they take years to make money and they're usually not paid enough for the crap their companies and public opinions put them through daily.
Also am I the only one shocked that minors can also sign under such contracts. The fuck is wrong with the law/agency/parents? Over here you can't be employed under 16, and until you're 18 you can't work past 8PM or on Sundays because legally and mentally they are still children. Who the hell let's a 16 year old be exposed to so much public scrutiny, hate, shitty working conditions, unhealthy hours and hard work when they should be enjoying youth, acquiring a skill set or studying.
Minors in groups make me so damn uncomfortable. Why do they need to be so young and why does no one feel guilty for robbing them of a childhood to have them train everyday in windowless rooms well into the night, work insanely and not make any fucking money for years?
Ugh- sorry this is my "it's 2AM I'm not asleep and the industry and a lot of the general public angers me" rant

Date: 2015-06-09 01:04 am (UTC)And yes, I feel the worst for Zelo in this situation--or in any idol group. They lose so much time on this, but they know that if they want to be a 'good' idol, they have to start training when they're a child--and they're just happier if they get to the point of actually performing earlier, regardless of whether they're a minor or not when they're performing. And a lot of kpop parents aren't happy about their kid joining the industry, from most stories I've seen, but their child usually insists upon it.

Date: 2015-06-09 01:13 am (UTC)Like yes, I'd love to know that they all still hang out but can't we remember that for a long time - maybe during training days and after debut - that they were barely allowed to see their friends and family? let them live.

Date: 2015-06-09 01:34 am (UTC)Yeah, it's really nice seeing them with family and friends and just seeing them happy. *sighs* I just hope that this is resolved soon and they can go back to making music in a better environment.
...not that I think they'll return as B.A.P OT6. Yongguk's unlikely to ever return to idol life after this, and I think Zelo doesn't want any part in it either ^^;;;;

*hugs you*

Date: 2015-06-09 01:40 am (UTC)I'd like to see these keyboard warrios experience one month of idolhood life and see if they can still preach the same words. Their level of entitlement and ignorance just blows my mind.

Date: 2015-06-09 05:06 am (UTC)hes still hella young, but theres been a fair amount of ppl who debut at 16 unfortunately
no subject
Date: 2015-06-09 08:12 am (UTC)I honestly think people shouldn't debut before they're 18. Hell they can't even sign their own employment contract all alone- and they are too young and probably not educated enough (+ way too desperate to debut) that they wont even understand or really consider the contract terms. It's super fishy.
I mean it's /literally/ child labour and I can't believe the laws are so lax when you see how hard they work them.
I'm looking at you SM making young girls sign for 13 damn years.

Date: 2015-06-09 08:22 am (UTC)Any kind of entertainment is a damn service. It's normal to exchange money for goods and services. It's normal for entertainers to want to be paid. I'm amazed some people don't get that. The entitlement of fans who think that artists are there to serve them regardless of whatever personal and professional issue they may have (and who are like 'I supported them I deserved this'. Yes you supported them, you paid, they provided their service at that point. Good for you- but you don't buy their futures or their personal choices)
Or those who criticize idols for being rich. Like- do they criticize Apple for being rich? Like any product or service hey've trained (Research & Development) for years, then marketed themselves to the masses and keep putting a new product/comeback on the market. If people choose to buy it, good for them, they've worked hard for it. I don't understand why people put down celebrities for actually making a nice living (and those are usually the ones who've been around for YEARS anyway)
Lol I made more in 6 month internship on minimum wage than EXID probably did their first two years while working much less hours and leading a probably much healthier life and schedule. It's fucked up

Date: 2015-06-09 02:25 am (UTC)And as mentioned above, I can't even come to terms with the fact that people are giving Daehyun a hard time for doing his performances. Um, do they not realize that he is keeping the fandom together by doing so? They get to see him, he updates like crazy for THEM, AND he gets to continue performing which is a plus for him and K-Babys. Like...I don't know what else they would want from him. He's doing so much to keep them happy.
