Haven't actually listened but I'm always here for people recognizing that Jiyoon does Androgyny 100x better than Amber. Although they obviously have different styles/methods (Amber goes boyish~ while Jiyoon is more sexy~ androgyny).

Tbh pledis was self destructing when she was there as well. Pledis destroyed what could have been a great opportunity in japan, refused to use oc to promote after school, debuted nuest with no idea how to manage two girl groups let alone a boy group, did nothing to protect beckah from all of the pressure and shaming that was going on to make her lose weight rapidly and strive to fit they're ideal image, and destroyed hello venus pretty much single handle with thered greed. Pledis gave her two solos which bombed horribly party because pledis is a shit company bit also be case by herself she is seriously lacking as a solo artist with any sort of charisma by herself. Now if she just took it out on pledis that would be one thing but she's by passing pledis and going straight for the girls she supposedly loves and cares about like "a mother"

Sweet I got a shout out, and I'm a girl :D
So far though, Seventeen seems to be doing pretty well for a debut since they made in the top ten of the billboard charts. But I don't know. I like them, the song brings me back to when I was like 12 listening to NSYNC. I hope that they can gain a following that will keep them afloat. From what I heard, the video was inspire by a 1Direction music video, I have no idea which one that is because I don't follow them and I only seen three of their videos and only watched one of them from beginning to end, so yeah.

Obviously the song is out since this has been recorded. I think and still wish that they did a lacrosse concept, or at least soccer it would have fit them more. I love the song, its fun, fast and loud, that's how I like most of my music.

The concept was over the place, the video was hard to watch since the scenes kept changing, so watching the live performance was better since it was easier to focus on them actually dancing and singing.

I think Sharron is just projecting how she feels about Nickhun(again how ever the hell its spelled)

I will be going to KconNY(NJ). I'm hype because I will be able to see Vixx again, hopefully they will get rest this time around. And I'm hoping that GG will actually put energy into their performance.

What I would say to my bias group company is JellyFish Entertainment, keep up the good work, just let the boys have at least a three week vacation. Somewhere nice and warm..Hawaii or Spain or something....just someplace where they can be twenty plus year olds males.

I still don't think the song is anything spectacular but I did get the old boy band vibes from it which is cool in it's own way for sure. I enjoyed watching it even if it was a ridiculous mess, but I don't think I'd want to watch it again, probably a one time only thing for me. After watching the lives I think it's typical crazy new group love that people find them as the next coming of Christ when they're live, but to each their own. They're good, but good in that they can actually perform which I guess we have to celebrate when our expectations are so low.

Shannon is always a firm hater of Khuntoria because she hates Khun, but yeah she was particularly on one the night of this recording haha.

Of course, the show is fun to listen to, even if you guys don't like certain groups I like, its still fun hearing ya'll opinions about what's happen in the Kpop world.

I'm looking forward to seeing the performers...not looking forward to be in NJ.

I don't really feel much about anything about khun, don't see the hype about his looks, he reminds me Ace Ventura pet monkey, they look alike to me. But people seem to like working with him so, meh *kanye shrug*

I think everyone in general isn't anti-the band don't get me wrong, but I don't see the point in acting like it's something we'll actually get. It's always brought up when AOA comes up on the podcast and I just think it's funny because I think international fans are the only group that truly is upset about the lack of the band. AOA was successful as the band, I won't argue that they didn't sell well, but they're monumentally more popular as the sexy group. The band also removes more people from AOA, where as AOA only is missing Youkyung(sp?) when they promote as a full unit. AOA as a full unit also contains their most popular member so it makes the most sense to promote that imo.

As I've told Ashe before, and I will continue to stick to it, Musically it makes more sense for AOA to promote as both. This isn't about music though, it's about profit, AoA is a part of FNC's business, as such they look to maximize profit and the path through that is AoA's popularity, which is built on their sexy image.

Yeah I'm cool with the idea of a B-side, and I think that's typically why we get an acoustic video for every title track for the most part. I think they should expand on that and give us a little AOA band on some songs, but I don't think there's money in promoting them.

Actually FNC could promote both side of AOA without investing much.
They try to promote the dance unit in Japan and Japan doesn't give 2 fuck about k-pop idol. If you're not DBSK/JYJ, BoA, BB and Kara just let it go.

But Japan does like FNC band, FT and CNBlue are really popular, like CNBLue would actually snatch 1rst place on the oricon chart. They actually debuted it Japan and it works.
If FNC was smart they use the dance unit in Korea and the band unit in Japan.
You know release a band ver. of their title song and promote both side.
When AOA black in in Japan, Seol/Hye can focus on their modeling/acting, put Chanmi on some dance stuff

As for the korean promo let the dance unit deal with it and just release band song as a b-side.
They should also have a youtube serie, like Mamamoo has mamamootv and play their own song.

That wouldn't be too expensive and I know it would work

You're investing a ton of money in promoting already in general so it's hard to say "without investing too much." Part of the reason that Mini albums and singles are more popular than full albums is the cost of a full album vs. a mini. Every song has inherent cost dumped into it for production.

Japan does like bands, but both those bands you mentioned are male and they both worked to establish themselves. It would take FNC investing the same amount of time and money into making them successful there when the market is noticeably slumping. It makes more sense in a business aspect to continue with the success you have already established so that's a risk.

Also again promoting AOA Black is double duty for some of those girls, and people already have complained about the busy schedules of some of the AOA members. It'll also probably make fans complain about not having enough attention in Korea (The common complaint amongst all fans when groups are doing stuff that we can't watch.) And given AOA's popularity, if FNC reacts to that you're talking about potentially over working those AOA Black members.

I think their best bet is to just use the band for B-sides in Korea and when they eventually tour have the band come out there. I don't disagree with the TV thing on Youtube, it's lower cost because you don't need TV deals or anything and it would give a chance to see just how much people want the band if you tease it there. If the draw is enough then you promote the band.
