And only seven pairs of legs. The moment they got famous after the change I knew it was going to be almost impossible to see them again as a band and dance group.
AOA Black is dead and burried already (and I say this as a AOA black fan - or I used to). I guess I would be satisfied if, one day, they release an AOA Black version of a song for AOA White (half of the latest mini would have been AMAZING as a ~rock~ version) At least they're doing a lacrosse concept this is going to be funny!!! About this sport, I don't understand how it's called "lacrosse" when it should be "une crosse" or something idk. Or the name isn't taken from French? Since Teen Wolf I'm really REALLY confused everytime this game is mentioned
Well I'm French so I guessed the name was somehow borrowed from the word we use, but "Lacrosse" as a sport isn't played here - or at least not in my region? How big it is in Canada? Is it a lot different from hockey? This is making me really curious :D sorry~ The first time I've seen Teen Wolf I thought the translators got something wrong lol
Ya I think it's definitely borrowed from you guys since the French Jesuits were the ones who observed the Natives playing it and brought it back before Canada was even a country. It's considered Canada's national sport, which might sound weird. Hockey is more traditionally considered our sport, and more people play Hockey, but lacrosse came from the Native Canadians so I suppose that's why. It's popular enough here, but because it doesn't have a major media industry backing it like the NHL, it seems like more of a small town community thing/something you play in college. There's a national league and everything, but outside of North America I haven't really seen it played (I could be wrong!). Also, Canada seems to bleed hockey so it's not much of a comparison haha.
I love talking about this, so no worries! :D Hockey and Lacrosse have a very similar style of play (use sticks to get a ball/puck in the back of a net by passing and they're both contact sports), but as I'm sure you saw in Teen Wolf, the sticks have netting and the goal is very very small. There's box lacrosse and field lacrosse and they have completely different rules, which can make things confusing. In general, Lacrosse is more like basketball as they play 4 quarters and there are no offiside rules/ the entire team is on offense, not defense. This is actually a good explanation if you want to know more! (http://www.barrieminorlacrosse.com/page/show/1141618-lacrosse-box-vs-field)
I'm trying very hard how lacrosse could come into their choreo... I got nothing.
Man though, it's times like this that I struggle to follow these girls wholeheartedly anymore. Good thing I really like Choa and Jimin because otherwise following a group that casually leaves out a member far too often just doesn't sit well with me. And many of the fans' very relaxed and even encouraging attitude towards it doesn't help.
It's like FNC only bothers showing her occasionally just to be all "see she's still a member, she's not mistreated whatsoever, you don't have to worry!" and fans fall for it. i c thru ur liez fnshit
