i'm moving out tomorrow. we packed all my stuff today. dad brought the people carrier and holy shit we might even struggle to get it all in there. he wants to bring the microwave and everything. i didn't know i had so much stuff. even books/dvd's/textbooks/music books included i have so much stuff. the poor car. the poor poor car

I need to be jobsearching as soon as I hit the ground in England but I haven't properly organised references and I'm having my usual silly anxiety over it. I know exactly who I want to ask and it would only take them, what, ten minutes to type up a brief character reference in relation to the work I did with them. But boo, anxiety, and personal interaction.

helloooo, happy weekend!

i moved back home for the summer a couple of days ago. it's so good to be back and be taken care of, for a change. but then again, it's summer and i'm having my annual crisis of getting a year older and having accomplished nothing basically. i really want to dye my hair this year (i've been telling myself that since i turned 18). has anyone ever bleached theirs platinum blonde/white? i've never dyed mine before and naturally it's light brown. i love my hair and i'm really scared i'll fuck it up, but i also really want to go pastel pink ugh

also, if anyone wants icons from bang bang bang, we like 2 party or love me right mvs, i can make some :D

My hair is light brown and I dyed it blonde and I regretted it. I dyed my hair many times and still looked good but discoloration is just too much. I had to wait to grow it back because it was really damaged. Maybe is because I didn't go to a good hair salon and I didn't use good products (I don't have the money for it).
But now I'm using a product with chamomile and I love it. The blonde looks really natural (I don't know if it have something to do with the fact that when I was a kid I was blonde) and my hair looks very healthy.

speaking of which, does anybody know of any shows like jessica and krystal? like really chill actual reality shows? i know a lot of people found it boring but i loved it omg. i've pretty much been marathoning hara's on and off since i finished it which i've also loved and then i've got hyuna's free month but i'm not aware of any other shows like those. i'd prefer girl groups but i might try out a boy group show if it sounds similar.

It's been so long since I've posted in a FFA!

I recently started a part-time captioning job because I was curious (lol), and I've really been enjoying it. I got to caption an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark last night! I've actually been making my way through all the seasons of that show in the past couple of weeks, so that was coincidental.

Is anyone else here into lolita fashion? I haven't paid attention to it for a couple of years, but I think I want to try my luck at the Misty Sky bloodbath re-release.

its 20 minutes past 1am and i just killed a huuuuuuuge spider (LIKE FREAKING HUGE) using my vacuum cleaner. now im super scared that theres another spider hiding in my apartment :/
btw i have arachnophobia so killing this huge thing on my own is a big deal for me. i know you should not kill them blabla but i just cant touch them.

What's with the difference in treatment for foreign fans wanting to attend a SM concert? My friend was going to seoul arounf the time of SS5. After looking into the tickets... there is an English site but the only tickets you can buy there is for a travel pkg. $1000 for tickets on both days + hotel or $375 for hostel + 1 day ticket. Wtf especially when tickets were like $130.
So we looked into the korean site (thx to translations) found out you need to ship it to a korean address of you purchase it there. So the only way to get the ticket is through a 3rd party who lives in Korea or... buy the $$ travel package.
Luckily i knew someone who knows someone who lives there but wow. That really sucks.

just went grocery shopping for the first time after moving to my new room
i told myself i was gonna get only the absolutely necessary and haha here i am holding mint jelly because it sounded delicious but i have no clue what it's like

also can i talk about this douchebag who bought my bed
we negotiated the price to be $120 days before the actual sale, he comes over to get the bed, sees that my roommate is about to throw out her 15 year old mattress, asks if he can take it (since my roommate didn't know about the bed sale and thought he was a friend helping me move my bed and says yes), comes into the house and tells me he wants to take her mattress unless i give him a discount. fucking asshole! i ended up giving it to be for $80 cuz i knew something like this would happen and called the price higher in the first place but gah i hate that i let him walk away feeling like he won.

just came back from socal/disneyland from a mini vacation and i am happy but pooped.

had a lil drama during the trip because my best friend, her brother, and other friend wanted to have dinner with their best friend who lived in socal for school but i wanted to opt out since i'm not close with her and i do feel a little bit awkward with her, but my best friend didn't want to go without me since she wanted us all to be friends. plus, one of my closest friends moved down to socal and i haven't seen her since high school ended and i really wanted to have a lunch date with her so i thought i could use this free day for her. since i was the odd one out, i was basically dragged to dinner with them and even though i wasn't feeling it, i tried to be on my best behavior.

so, ever since i met her friend, i've always had a feeling she hated me, lol. during dinner, she would always ignore me even though i tried to jump in the convo or my best friend would include me. the moment i talked, that's the moment she changed the subject. also, i kind of felt like she tried to insult me passive aggressively... i have a side job as a stylist so i did the hair of everyone in my group and i don't want to toot my own horn, but i thought i did pretty damn well (i had to fixed my bf's roots, brassy blonde hair, and color it teal and color my friend's hair... who's hair doesn't take color that well but it did when i did it). the entire time, their friend kept going "oh i know someone who would do a better job" and side-eyed me when i tried explaining the process of doing their hair.

what kind of got me really irritated was when my bf casually told her that they weren't planning on going since i wanted to go out by myself and her friend went "oh, that's good you ended up coming. you almost ruined this entire day." and i guess the others thought she was joking but it's like... i see you, ya damn sneaky snake. man idk one day i might have to fight her but until that day comes, i'm just going to sit back and try to calm myself down.

my sister has that foundation and i have samples of it, it's pretty good (for ~$40 it better be good). it's not something i use daily, but it has pretty good cover. my t-zone can get oily. my friend has a lancome foundation that has amazing coverage & is a perfect shade. i find it hard to find a good foundation that matches asian skin tones, a lot of the ones i come across all have pink undertones.
