Shinhwa is announced to be the next artist performing at KCON 2015 in Los Angeles and VIXX for KCON 2015 in New York, with the ticketing information officially released as well!

Last week, Girls’ Generation was first to be confirmed in the concert line-up for the New York show. The 1-night concert at Prudential Center in Newark on August 8th will be the first KCON series to be held in the state.

On the other hand, for KCON 2015 in Los Angeles, Super Junior, AOA, and Block B are officially announced to be the performers up till now. The festival in Los Angeles will feature 2 nights of concerts within the 3-day convention, lasting from July 31st to August 2nd at Staples Center.

Ticketing sales for New York will start on June 25th at 10AM PST, while for Los Angeles, tickets start on June 18th for Platinum & Combo tickets and June 21st for Individual tickets, both at 10AM PST. Selling through AXS, New York tickets range from $50 to $220, while Los Angeles tickets range from $50 to $250 for Single tickets, $70 to $400 for Combo tickets, and $800 for Platinum tickets.

Fans were also being teased last week when organizers hinted possibilities of bringing drama actors and actresses to KCON.

I'm so jealous of LA right now. I wanted Shinhwa for New York.

Welp, looks like I'm actually going to have to take a trip to New Jeresy...which is scary since I have never been. I'm hoping that I get someone to go with me.

brooklyn here as well. the most confusing part is finding where to go in penn station, the rest is super easy and i promise no more confusing than the subway. plus the station is like 2 blocks from where you need to go once you get to jersey and there are signs pointing the way

i'm ecstatic that kcon is reaching out to fans of older groups bc while idc about aoa or block b i'm over the moon about getting to see super junior + shinhwa live!!!!!!!!! old school kpop! i also wonder how many people will be going to see suju + shinhwa, lol them old ajusshis. <3 i don't get how kcon works though...if you buy concert tickets are you good for both days? their packaging system is whack

I'm so sad about vixx not coming to LA but it's a rare opportunity to see shinhwa and sj in one concert. Sixteen year old me is dying in feels, and just like you, i have no idea how it works. Convention tickets are apparently sold differently this year?
And now i'm doubly confused.

you can buy a concert ticket for either night if you only wanna go to one, or you can buy a package for both that would have you in the same seat/section for both nights, at a somewhat lower price than buying two separate.

my guess is that suju and shinhwa will probably headline on different nights, so you'll probably wanna end up buying the package.

oh man i'd be pissed if they were on 2 separate nights i don't have the energy for that LOL but maybe i'll do that. do you know if they announce which artist performs on what night before the actual event or do you have to wait until the day of to find out how the lineup works?

they typically announce beforehand because people don't wanna buy blindly, although last year they had some kinda mess with b1a4 suddenly not being confirmed (they re-confirmed a few days before ticket sales, i think)

also the convention part, i was reading is a separate ticket for LA. I'm not going to LA this year so I didn't bother investigating too much but concert tickets don't provide convention entry this time around.

yeah kcon always sounded so messy to me i never cared for going but i want to go this time for the line-up idk if it's worth the mess.

i don't really care for the convention part so i don't mind that it's separate, i only want to go the concert, lol. thanks for the info!

it is a little messy, but i find that most kpop concerts in america tend to be. if you're not committed to buying the most expensive ticket and only wanna go to the concert, i think it's worth it and will probably be minimal heartache. I honestly have no complaints about the actual concert last year except for the fact that some nagl white dude was an opening act

wait really? who was the white dude??? lol

Ugh when you live in California and so many of your favorite artists are going to LA but you can't make it down there on that EXACT DATE alcfnwlcmsislfjap

During the livechat they had said "we've been getting messages that we're neglecting new york and that makes us sad"

well. how about announcing some more groups for new york then?! I mean I know they can't really announce them until they're 100% confirmed but like y'all spend most of these livechats talking about LA, so. plus the fact that LA already has 4 artists announced and new york only has 2. come on -_-

to be fair new york is a new location, and we only get one concert night vs. LA getting two, so the same percentage of lineup announcements has been made
