Their Japanese in that song is terribad, the response to that version wasn't good either if I recall correctly and I don't think they have any particular connection to Japan? With the dying hallyu wave too, it really won't benefit them. SM should leave Japan to the Korean groups/artists that actually make an effort there
Besides I see them doing better in China tbh :o
