Translation:
Hi everyone~~ are you all well?
After the promotions has ended, I’ve been relatively free hehe
The reason I am writing this post is because recently I’ve read a book and it healed my impatient and uneasy heart ><
So I wrote a book report for the people who are busy with their everyday lives and who are having a hard time hehehe

The book I read is called “Momo”
You can’t grasp the content just from the title, right?
That was for me as well. It made me curious so I ended up reading the book
It was a very pretty and pure fairy tale

To explain the plot briefly,
The story is about Momo giving back the time the bad Men in Gray has stolen from the people, even though she’s a mysterious girl who doesn’t know her parents, birthplace and age. She has the ability to listen well to other people’s stories.
What does everyone think about valuing time?
Life from waking up at morning dawn, without time to even eat, without the mind/spirit to work and study
Just recently some time ago, I thought that these are necessary processes to become a great person in the future

But in this book, although they are poor, they help and cherish each other
They each lost their enjoyment and laughter/smiles while time-saving,
The warm and peaceful village soon changed into a cold grey world with emotionless working people and who doesn’t care for each other.
These people gain from valuing time but in the heart they became poor.
풍요속’s word Poverty(궁핍) just fits perfectly.
An unsatisfying life with lots of things and An grateful life with least of things.
Which life is happier?
For me, even just from now on, I will be grateful for all the things given to me and I will cherish-ly be here!

Also when my heart becomes impatient, I am unable to do anything.
I only keep on thinking negative things, I couldn’t pull myself up quickly until it makes me miserable.
If it happens repeatedly it becomes a trauma and I become afraid of trying on new challenges.
There’s this word that really really touched me. “Go slow now so you can go faster later” it’s what Cassiopeia, the tortoise has said to Momo who felt uneasy.

When I saw the conflicting phrase, I stared blankly for a moment
But then, feeling like I’ve received a tremendous comfort, I smiled.
Don’t be too hard (on yourself) looking at a distant place
Walk step by step into your path and in no time you will arrive in your destination!
If you’re too tired, have a tea time for yourself or listen to a good song
eusya eusya give yourself an award that could give you strength
I said get up and go while smiling and taking care of the people around you!!!

I read this book yesterday and it really left a deep impression on me thus ended up writing this post hehehe

Joy is an adorable little giant, lol.

Irene is of course lovely but very... blank? I don't get a sense of oomph or anything from her. Mayhaps in time she'll open up a bit more, & take on the challenge of being a leader head on.

Yeri is cute, but that's literally it. Maybe in time she too will open up a bit more & exhibit more talents & ~*~charms~*~

Yeri is precious, but yeah... I'm trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, since it's so early in her career, but nothing is popping out. She just kinda fades into the bg unless one of the other girls tries to drag her out.

I actually really like how Irene is. She seems very real to me, like she doesn't care about what an idol is expected to be like. She'll do what is needed but she'll keep to herself if she wants to keep to herself. Kind of like Krystal although, yeah, she's not as charismatic as Krystal.

Wendy, on the other hand, comes off as a bit of a try-hard? Like, she tries too hard to be likeable, it doesn't feel genuine anymore.. Maybe she's just awkward, maybe she just hasn't mastered her movements and facial expressions...I dunno. There's just something about her that is so off.

I'm not a fan of RV but I every time I encounter them, I gravitate towards Joy and Irene. Joy is so pretty and adorable while Irene is similar to my other biases - easily the visual of the group but still unassuming and kind and somewhat awkward. At least that's the impression I get from her.

I remember my dad reading Momo to me when I was a kid!
It's a bit of a children's novel but like all good children's stories, adults can get something out of it too.
I'm glad Joy enjoyed it, her mini book report was super cute.

I'm honestly curious why a couple of people on omona dislike her. I don't find anything I can dislike about her tbh??? i think omona thinks she's really racist for her one comment, but a lot of people's faves have said problematic things but this is the internet and apparently when you say wrong comment it's held against you forever so.
