I love 'Cupid' and 'Peek-a-boo' sounds like an anime intro, amazing.

They should've made I Luv Me the title track imo. It was the stand out song for me on the first listen and it suits the summer really well.

Cupid is growing on me but its verses are too long for the song to be truly jammy. The chorus is good but still lacks the energy, especially with the slow-ish dance. But i guess they chose it as title because it's slightly more radio-friendly.

All in all the album is nothing groundbreaking but still quite enjoyable.

PS: an additional lower voice in Dreamlover/overall more powerful vocals would've made the song even better.

If there's one thing I wish KARA had, it would be a vocalists with a mid-low (at least for a female idol) range. A lot of their songs, particularly their ballads, would've gone so much higher if they had someone who could do a nice low harmony with Gyuri and Seungyeon

i like all the songs. theyre all kind of generic tho idk. i like peekaboo and track 3 the most but they all kinda...blend together

i see them giving gyuri 2 collab tracks to make up for hara getting a solo after this

I love this mini! Overall it's fresh and bright with a fun summer feel. Cupid is great as a title track, I know some folks aren't completely sold on it, but I think it's the choreo that kinda slows it down from being a complete jam. The girls can do something way more interesting. I Luv Me could've easily been a great title as well, I hope they perform it live. That Gyulham duet slayed my life -- they've both grown so much as vocalists over the years and I'm so happy to hear them together on Dreamlover. idk why they did peekaboo as a duet, but I'm so glad they did because I can finally /hear/ Youngi! She's got a nice tone, but nothing really unique tho I hope she continues training so we can get something more from her. Starlight and Just Because (?) are really good as well, standard KARA, but pleasant.

Another solid mini, but I hope their next release is a full length and really explores the range of genres they're capable of and that the concept/styling/choreo is more involved and intricate.

this was a smooth a'ight. I feel like KARA is in this weird place where the group was transitioning into a 'grown woman' space and moving away from 'cutesy' but now have to double back for Youngji since she's 4 - 6 years younger than them and they haven't figured out how to play the middle between the ages concept wise.

I like Starlight a lot! Cupid is a good song. I luv me is great, I think they should promote it with Cupid.
