no idea about kim kang woo's status in the movie industry, although the king is the plot key surrounding the movie, from every press release and promotion I saw ji hoon is the main actor/character of the movie and got the top billing (lol it's my duty as ji hoon's obnoxious stan to know):

In my opinion, k-movie sageuk is generally very boring. Tried it many times and they always make me on the edge of falling asleep. I actually do not understand it since kdramas sageuk is usually very entertaining and addictive. :/

Nevertheless, Im super excited. Kim Kang Woo is like one of Korea's most versatile actor so I know for a fact he's gonna be sooo awesome as the King. :D

i really like both actors and kim kang woo is phenomenal. i try to watch every movie and drama he's in and he never disappoints me. right now although i find the cases kind of predictable i am loving him in Noir: M.

HE IS phenomenal (though I find Huendae Lovers boring -- well, I blamed the script tbh)! He is the type of actor who can excel at anything you give him -- be it good, evil or weak characters. I want his next drama/movie to be dark/sad where he act as a vulnerable character. Its been a while since he took that kind of role -- I missed it. '~'
