both songs are good. his voice sounds a bit different in kontrol...a bit less screechy? not that i don't like his screechiness; it kind of makes his voice distinctive. either way i'm here for sunggyu's music always
I am ALWAYS here for SungGyu. His voice just hits that perfect spot for me, and the songs he puts out are always a joy to listen to. I really really enjoy his music, and I can't express how happy I am that he's putting out a 2nd album, even after he felt the first one flopped. These are both wonderful.

Everything is Kim Sunggyu and nothing hurts!!!! Love all about this!!! I hope he gets good results this time too, imo his last mini sold pretty well for a solo
When Woollim released the album preview honestly unlike most of the comments on the post I was underwhelmed but yes thank you I love the whole album rn ;_; I still can't decide which I like better as a song but as for the MV Kontrol takes the cake. The Answer is pretty but that's it I guess and Kontrol has more meaning? Some said Kontrol was pre-Back (even tho idt it's the same girl) and that the sister is now dead etc. Lol at that Nothing's Over pic with the member's faces covered tho. And others said Kontrol was dedicated for this Inspirit girl who was a Sewol victim but I'm not sure :(
I've seen the explanations for Kontrol and why they believe it was for the Sewol victim and.....it's crushing. Lol, I'm teary just typing about it. *swats hand*
Both songs and MVs are great. Personally, I prefer the song. When the song opened up during the chorus, the expression on my face, guys....lol. It's so beautiful. I can already see the live stages at the end of year shows. Having an orchestra with a FLAWLESS stringed section, pale blue flowers and a suit to match. YES.

I love this EP more than the first! Alive is my fave, it's so beautiful~ ♥ Unlike almost everyone else I couldn't get into the first album despite Sunggyu's amazing vocals. Daydream is AMAZING, I thank god for that collaboration (tablo+infinite got me all excited already), though I'd still wish the autotune never happened. Luckily it didn't affect the song much.
As for the singles I prefer Kontrol too. His raspy vocals at the end! Gah. Also MV is so tipsy and beautifully filmed. Almost like an indie film. Loveeeee the colors.

sungkyu-yaaa, i have never loved an artist like i love you. this whole album is just such heaven to listen to, i can't even explain it in words. i can already tell this isgoing to the top of my favourite albums. i like the answer more than kontrol, but the mv for kontrol is just so gorgeous. and sungkyu has seriously never looked better, even in my super biased eyes.
im so glad the album is doing well so far. baby should have the recognition he deserves as an amazing vocalist! also, me being distracted from my ducks playoff game right now to spend time on this just shows how much i stan this boy more than anything <3
I've been going back to both of these songs over and over since they were released. They're both so utterly addicting and beautiful and I have tears in my eyes listening again even though I've listened so many times before!! Sunggyu's voice has something so special about it, he gives me the tingles that only certain voices can. I adore both of the songs so much though at the moment I like Kontrol a little more, there's something that bit more emotionally raw about it that appeals to me and tugs at my heart that bit tighter. It was a long wait but Gyu makes every day I waited worth it ♥
Finally got to watch this and The Answer is nice; I literally gaped when the color burst along with the song; it's just so beautiful. But Kontrol though; like damnnnn it is just everything I wanted and more. The lyric practically screams Jongwan but Sunggyu made it his own with the emotional delivery. Also helps that the MV is just so. gorgeous. Damn Woollim really goes all out with this comeback.
Time to plow through the album and starts screaming Jongwan and Sunggyu all over the place.
