#QueenMomo on the other hand slayed, and hasn't even officially performed yet (although I have to say I am worried for her, judging by the preview for the next ep + those rumors; but she's also apparently got a lot of viewer popularity on her side already?)
I'm also loving Dahyun and Sana's nerdy butts already. idk how I feel about Jihyo's voice but she performs well and /ten years/ is so long so I'm rooting for her. I love love love the Chae sisters and sweet Canadian Princess Somi, but they're so young that I think I'd feel more comfortable with them debuting in a couple years - then again Somi has the makings of my dream maknae for this group, but after I saw pics of her and Chaeyeon holding hands I really want this blossoming ot3 to debut together lol
JYP really needs to get his Mina boner in check yikes...

Oh do you mean Jiwon's iljin rumors? Netizens dug that up soooo fast. They've been up since her teaser came out, which is crazy. I didn't think they'd talk about it on the show tho.

Tbh they're not wrong when they say that about Momo. And it's not just the dancing, from what little we've heard of her she can sing too so she pretty much has the whole package. Her presence and confidence is pretty amazing for someone that hasn't debuted yet. I can see what JYP is doing by showing the cuteness but I am still annoyed because looking at showcase photos Japanese Girl Team, at least, was supposed to be a mature group. So now I'm seeing all these cutesy girls and the ones that don't make it will probably be the younger ones, and if Momo doesn't make this group how in the world will she fit in the other one?
And yeah, I am annoyed by that too. I thought there was a potential from the teasers we saw from Jihyo, Minyoung, and Jiwon but even they need a lot of polishing up. I like Jihyo but I feel bad because I am no where near wow-ed by her and I find myself asking what she has done in these 10 yrs, which is pretty terrible lol.
I feel like JYP girl groups do tend to have that one member whose visuals and talents are a little more ~mature~ compared to the rest of the group. Like with Miss A it's obviously Fei (who Momo reminds me of a lot in some ways) and for Wonder Girls I guess it was a tossup between Sunye and Yubin.
... I guess I'm saying I hope it's a tradition he keeps to because I'll be a little heartbroken if Momo doesn't make the cut lol
i see mnet editing is going for nayeon already. i want to bet that half of the faces she made were at other random times. but anyway her performance was mediocre, but there's no way she's not debuting. same with dahyun who at least is hilarious (but doesn't seem to be particularly talented).

MNet's edit of Nayeon has done her no favors. She was my #1 fav girl going in but ugh, that edit she got. :/ Honestly, the 4 original members had awful edits imo. They focused too much on how much they deserved those spots and just makes them seem bitter about the show. And I would be too, but I can see fans turning against them for this and this following into their career. :/
My favorite performances were Dahyun's and Sana's, lol I love their 4Dness. I wasn't expecting that from Sana. I also loved Jihyo's I will be so upset if she doesn't make it in the group. I didn't want a group bigger than 7, but since the edit obviously shows the originals will definitely make it I reaaaally hope they make it 8 or 9 members now because I love Sana, Mina, and Momo so much. :(
Ideal lineup: Minyoung, Jihyo, Jeungyeon, Nayeon, Dahyun, Sana, Momo plus hopefully Mina, Chaeyong, or Jiwon.
No, I totally get the bitterness if there is any. But this is what I was worried about for the show, how they would act given the situation. I still ask myself why JYP didn't go ahead and debut them as 4 or 5. Yeah, they may be lacking in some but I think they showed they can at least carry themselves well.
I am still hoping for a 9 member group. Your picks are basically my picks lol. I honestly think JYP set the show up so that he could reason making a 9 member group. So that the public basically wants it for themselves. I've seen pretty much every fan out there want a 9 member group so I hope he goes that way. The problem, of course would be how he manages. I always forget about Tsuyu but I think she's another lock in. JYP has seen how useful (and successful) it is to have Chinese members so there's that.
