in a previous showcase pamphlet Momo, Jihyo and a male trainee was grouped together for dance, don't know if they were a unit or each had special dance solos. There are also a lot of rumors saying the other trainees acknowledge her dancing. Plus she's in the front and center in the group dances in the trailer.
I think they will have two teams competing against each other like YG's Win had Team A and Team B, except that the teams won't stay the same, but members doing badly will be moved to better team (probably called Major) and members doing badly moved to worse team (in my opinion pretty bad decision as it will encourage back stabbing and create poor team spirit).
JYP already stated the ones not debuting will debut in 2 years, unless he let them go between now and 2017 because their personality doesn't fit JYPE and he'll help them find a new company.
Honestly this looks more like YG's survival style than JYP's, but maybe the actual show will be more of JYP style survival than this preview looks like.
Considering what we've seen of the contestants, I do think there are a few who are just there as fillers and a couple who are just about guaranteed to debut and it seems like JYP is doing this more for predebut publicity than to create the group. Which isn't necessarily bad -- but I do expect a lot of frustration and tears on my part as I watch this tbh
And has some kind soul made a compilation of all the girls with all their info? I wanna to into this with at least a better idea of who's who
JYPE himself states that this show is more cruel than the usual JYP style, plus all the criticism will be public. Public humiliation is horrible, but JYPE has therapists on deck, I hope they're encouraged to go to therapy if their self esteem is taking a hit.
