Haters are nothing new to celebrities - if you're famous enough, you're bound to have someone disliking you. Ever since the Wonder Girls announced their debut in the States, there have been as many skeptics as there are supporters. Though most celebrities tend to keep their head in the game and ignore negativity and hate-filled comments, member Yenny did the unconventional and struck back.
To sum it up, this girl belittles people from a third world country who speak improper English. She goes on to claim that her first language is Korean and that she, for one, would not make herself look "stupid" by speaking improperly. (Too bad she also wrote the word "etcetera" improperly and spelled it "ecterera" instead. Webster anyone?)
Yenny fights back by saying that there is nothing wrong with improper English, and that you should not be ashamed of what you lack but instead see it as an opportunity because everyone has something to learn. Furthermore, she gives some wise words about how sounding intelligent is based not only on how you speak, but what you say.
Later, Yenny tells her fans that, despite reading the hater's comments, she still loves her fans, and tells them not to worry. Most celebrities would not approach a hater dead on in these situations but it seems we know what happens now when you diss the fans. Can we just say that Yenny is f(iretr)ucking boss?
