Hm I think I like "Super Girl" better in Mandarin, but not sure. I think it flows better in Mandarin anyway. :D Well either way it's not like I understand what they're saying so whatever lol.
How come the ballad songs always sound better in Korean? Example, DBSK's Love in the Ice sounds better in Korean, but Purple Line sounds better in Japanese. IDK, maybe that's just me.
They both know Korean to an extent and actually that's how they communicate in China (aside from Zhou Mi and Geng I guess). IIRC Zhou Mi's Korean is even supposedly better than Han Geng's. Don't quote me on that one though.
I love both versions of both songs. I'm just used to Super Girl in Mandarin, so I like that one better. But I'm sure if the korean version came out first I would like that one better. I'm just used to the Mandarin version. As for Blue Tomorrow, since I haven't heard the Mandarin version as much, the korean version sounds really nice. So I like the korean version better. It's all a matter of which version I hear first, cause that'll be the version I am more used to hearing it in.
well it's LOADS easier to sing along to in korean that's fo sho :O honestly, i think the chinese language is so beautiful (minus cantonese spoken by angry market ladies) but goddamnit why is it so hard omfg. so many fucking slight intonations and slight accents and graaaghgfdkjgd (yyeah i tried to take chinese 1 last semester. ...it didn't go so well as far as oral presentation went... i'm doing loooads better in japanese right now lol)
it does sound slightly better in mandarin, but that's probably cos uhh it was made/written for that language first lol.
I'm not a fan of Blue Tomorrow in either language (though I don't like ballads) but I think Super Girl sounds better in Mandarin than in Korean. The Mandarin lyrics are slightly ... I think I want to say "choppier" but I don't really mean that they're choppy, it's early for me ... it just sounds better with the beat of the music, the way the words are formed. I think that's what I mean.
