Gagman Park MyungSoo has spoken up about the plagiarism accusations made against Kpop artistes.
Park MyungSoo spoke on MBC FM4U ‘2PM Date with Park MyungSoo‘ on 23rd September, “It is not right to say who, but on the internet we all know that, and I find it weird that some people are insisting that it is not plagiarism. Rather, people call it sampling, when it gets tiring it becomes a comic and entertainment.”
And Bae GiSang and Sang DaeHyun who were the guest appearance on the show that day said, “Yes we should be honest about it.”
“Plagiarisms is a national humiliation. Foreigners are saying, ‘Are you a country without your own creation?’. This serves as an awakening call to musician to make their own creations.”
After Park MyungSoo’s input on the plagiarism issue, there were heated discussion online by netizens. Some said, “This is a good awakening call for artistes”, “Ain’t this a little too rash considering that it is not confirmed if the songs are plagiarism?”, “Park MyungSoo is not even talking about GDragon’s plagiarism case.”etc
