“Producer” roles of Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun, IU, and Cha Tae Hyun revealed

The roles played by Gong Hyo Jin, Kim Soo Hyun, IU, and Cha Tae Hyun in KBS 2TV’s star-studded drama “Producer” have been revealed.

Gong Hyo Jin will play a PD with ten years of experience in the industry who is smart, haughty, and never holds back in letting people know what she thinks.

Kim Soo Hyun will play a rookie PD who wanted to be a prosecutor but chooses this career path wholly for the sake of love and women.

IU will depict a famous celebrity who became a trainee when she was 13 years old. She is called “ice princess” for her poker face and complete control over her emotions.

Cha Tae Hyun will play a seasoned PD who, like Gong Hyo Jin, has worked in the industry for ten years. He has worked on a lot of programs but has no single masterpiece to call his own.

Meanwhile, “Producer” is slated to start filming on April 2. According to an insider, “The filming sites for the first official day of shooting will be around the Yeouido area,” which is the actual broadcasting center of Seoul.

The drama is highly anticipated, not just because of its star-studded cast but also because it will be written by writer Park Ji Eun, who wrote “My Love from the Stars.”

i couldn't finish dream high bcuz of how bad Suzy/taec were. i wanted IU to be the female lead and now kim so hyun and IU are re uniting im so glad.

im mainly here for queen GHJ, im hoping she's the true star. im interested to see how this drama plays out with like 12 episode or w/e. also with that TVN fri-sat slot

SAAAAME. thought its prob gonna be taehyun/ghj otherwise by the Law of Kdrama couples he'd be paired with IU which is....yikes lol. i like taehyun but no to that age difference tbh. im such a hypocrite cuz i'd be so here for soo hyun x ghj but he's been with older female costars more than a few times and is rly natural with them. but who knows. im ok with ksh/iu so long as her character isnt as boring as it sounds on paper. she's so cute tho i'd prob like her no matter what she does. sigh.

the age difference between ghj and ksh isn't that large though. They're only 8 years apart whereas Taehyun and IU is close to 20 years lol. So its understandable that you could ship GHJ and KSH but not IU and Taehyun

and IU IS super likable in dramas. I haven't watched one drama of hers that i actually liked but i loveeee watching her on screen
