Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung have welcomed their first child into the world.

The news was announced by their agencies through a joint press release. According to the statement, Lee Min Jung gave birth to a healthy baby boy early in the morning of March 31 at a hospital in Seoul. Lee Byung Hun, who returned to Korea last Friday, was present at the hospital.

The actress and newborn son are both healthy, and they are currently recovering from the experience.

According to Lee Byung Hun’s agency, the actor has decided to push back his overseas meetings in order to take care of his wife and their child.

I hope she and her son are healthy and happy, and hopefully she had a natural birth, recovery from c-sections are the worst nightmare, you are in constant pain and you can't even enjoy fully your newborn child the first couple of weeks.

if you are planning on giving birth omona, go for a natural birth if you can. C sections suck :(

My csections weren't bad. Going overdue, developing a PUPPS rash right at 40 weeks and my blood pressure spiking at 41w3d sucked.

I definitely recovered from the second (scheduled) section better even though it included a tubal ligation. I had fluid overload with the first due to being slowly induced over the course of three and a half days. With the second, I was in better physical shape and had to be up and moving as soon as I could because I wanted to care for my son and my husband was home with our older son. I had no interest in a natural birth since I wanted the tubal.

My sister was rushed into the induction/csection thing and that sucked for her.

I still think it is wrong in a way that a child was born in this relationship. They obviously have problems and a child is not going to solve that. Once a cheater, always a cheater if you ask me.

A friend of mine had a cheating husband as well and he admitted it and said he would change. They decided to have a baby because she thought that would definitly make him stay/change. Guess what, he just continued his sleazy ways and eventually they had a very messy divorce where the child was just pushed and pulled between the two of them, it was so sad and it still is today.

I wish Korea wasn't so fucked up when it comes to single mothers so she could just leave his sorry ass.

this wedding always had brought a lot more to the table than love and romance. they're seen as a power couple and stuff. a divorce is almost like a contract dispute in this case...

at this point, I just hope that this child would be a better man and doesn't think that what his father did was ok or acceptable just because his mother didn't divorce.

I'm glad he didn't have a daughter. I'm sure having one would not change the way he see/treat women, and the girl could be looked down by her father for being a woman. Plus the bullying in school. Ugh. I just hope the son receives lots of love and turns into a decent man.
