Still fresh from her retirement from the entertainment industry, former Wonder Girls’ member Sunye posted a recent photo of her and her adorable daughter.

On March 30th, a photo of Sunye and her daughter has been shared on Wonder Girls’ official fan cafe, Wonderful. In the photo that was directly shared by her uncle, the fans were able to see Sunye holding her daughter’s hand who was sitting on the baby trolly.

Many fans noted how Sunye was still lovely as she was during her time as an idol member. The photo also garnered much attention for showing Sunye’s daughter in cute white and red stripped shirt and beanie.

Meanwhile, Sunye married to a Korean-Canadian missionary James Park in January of 2013 and gave birth to a lovely daughter in October of the same year.

Maybe some WG fans told her how terrible christian missionary work actually is, or maybe she realized how impractical it would be.

Either way this is so cute.

I'm pretty sure I randomly know her in-laws (I eat at their cafe), and my part of Canada is still no where near warm enough for any baby to be outside (especially dressed like that).

I say she's vacationing in Florida because she's definitely not in Southern Ontario, it's been snowing again :"""(

Cool/weird stroller.

Wow really? What's the name of their cafe? I'm around Hamilton.

I think this photo was taken last summer, it's definitely not recent because her baby can walk now.

have no idea what the name is. My sister used to randomly go up to Koreans and practice her Korean and one day someone replied "Do you know the Wonder Girls?!" And then proceed to brag about her future daughter in law (this was back in 2011).

It's in downtown Burlington. Think they used to run a cafe in the main Library, now they probably have a different one.

She's too extremist for me to remotely tolerate, but good for her if she's happy and has a healthy family

I dont agree with her missionary work, but she has been through a lot during her time as an idol, and if she is happy then great for her. I don't see her coming back to the WG, at least not in the next few years. I just wish she would announce her not coming back, so the rest can move on and do something

Love her beautiful heart and what she has been doing.
I don't see anything wrong with her raising funds for her school which helps adult learn a skill or two. Her ophanage also welcome people of different religion and she has never force anyone into christianity.

Bless the angel Sunye.

Can someone educate me and tell me why you're glad she's not doing missionary work in Haiti please??

Date: 2015-04-01 04:44 am (UTC)
From: [identity profile] kjc48.livejournal.com
From what I gather:
-Haiti is already like 99.9% Christian (Catholic)
-SY made a point of stating that she's going to bring the word of Jesus to those pagans (she's protest so this is some good old fashion my bible is better than yours)
-In general Missionaries are like modern colonist (or just plain old school colonist since a lot of them were missionaries) so people don't like them
-It was all good and Kosher, but then she went on a Twitter rampage talking about how she was going to turn water into wine or something.

I have a friend who does missionary work down in Haiti. I think with her, it's more about educating. She's saved kids from being stoned, as the locals thought the children were possessed by devils, when in reality, they have autism :(

That's nice.
But there's a difference to going to just volunteer/educate and missionary work.
