YG Ent is the top company netizens want to apply for to be singers

Netizens have picked YG Entertainment as the company they want to enter in as singer the most, and as the company they can trust the best.
A survey was done from 15th to 22nd September on community portal site DCInside on the question of “If you are a singer wannabe, which company do you want to enter the most and which company can you trust the most?” and YG Entertainment has came in #1 on the survey.

Of the 5,503 votes, YG Entertainment got 1,456 votes (26.5%). YG Entertainment is set up by Yang Hyun Seok who was part of ‘Seo Taiji and Boys’ and is a company which has produced many great hiphop musicians and actors – Jinusean, 1TYM, Big Mama, WheeSung, Big Bang, 2NE1 etc.
And it is known that the artistes in the company are close to each other, having a very tight family. And the company had actresses like Park HanByul and Goo HyeSun.
SM Entertainment came in #2 with 1,193 votes (21.7%). Lee SooMan was also once a singer, and he had set up SM Entertainment grooming some of the biggest artistes of all time like H.O.T, S.E.S in the 1990s. SM Ent is also the company which had produced great fandom. They have a systematic training system in place, which had produced some of the biggest ‘Hallyu singers’ like BoA, Dong Bang Shin Ki, Super Junior and So Nyeo Shi Dae.

I'd pick YG too. I mean I suppose I'm a bit wish-washy on the subject so I'd pick SM as well because they're good at getting their artists known. I think no matter what company you're with as a famous person you're almost always going to be unhappy in someway. It's all what you're willing to put up with (i.e. slave driving companies). It's the kind of business where you have to sacrifice a lot and may get very little in return.

i'd pick any of these - yg, sm, jype. it's good music, constant promotions and trainees are really trained properly not just in singing and dancing but they're groomed to entertain as well.. lack of sleep, emotional "trauma", homesickness - little sacrifices if you really want fame. sure a 13 year contract may seem way too long and life-bounding but if you think about it, doesn't that mean you're guaranteed of a job and pay for at least 13 years?

I know everyone loves JYP and all but somehow I dont think he is as nice as the image he portrays. It's their job to work the artists hard (probably not to the point SME does) and earn money.

I'm surprised JYP is not third. Anyway, if I have to choose: being a slave, being tossed out when trouble arises, or singing not-so-original music (but still be hella popular), I will definitely choose the last option. And YHS seems to give a lot of freedom to his artists and he doesn't really care about face so that's a plus.
