Miss A′s Fei, Jia, Min, and Suzy attended the album showcase for their seventh project album Colors on March 30 at K ArtHall in Olympic Park, beginning their promotional activities.



There, the miss A members explained why it took so long for the group to return.

When asked why it took a year and five months to make a comeback, Min answered, "It took a long time to find a good song."

Jia also added, "Truthfully, Park Jin Young PD gave us a song too, but it didn′t have the right ′feel.′ After hearing Only You, we thought, ′Ah! This is it!′ So we were able to return after a long time."

Following Hush promotions in 2013, miss A was on hiatus for a year and five months. The members focused on acting, variety shows, and activities abroad, making it difficult for fans to see them on the music stage. A lot of attention has been given on the reason why the group′s hiatus was so long.

Especially with the possiblity that miss A will be going head to head with Park Jin Young with his upcoming new album, the spotlight has recently been shining brighter on this group.

"We haven′t talked to Park Jin Young sunbaenim about that yet. It′s just promoting together at the same time, but it′s a bit burdensome," said Suzy with a smile "Because he′ll be watching, we′ll have to work harder. And if we don′t do well, we′ll have to get lessons, so I′m a bit worried."

"But I think it′ll be reassuring as well. When we promote with our agency′s artists, I feel very reassured and confident, so I think it′ll be the same."

Miss A returned with Colors. Its title song Only You was released on March 30 and has topped the charts of many music sites.

Regarding the public′s strong focus on Suzy, the miss A members shared their thoughts.

On March 30, miss A held its seventh project album Colors showcase aT the K Art Hall in Olympic Park, revealing the performance of its new song for the first time.

On this day, Min explained why the group had a hiatus period of a year and five months. "It was because we were searching for a good song. We couldn′t find one with the right ′feeling,′ but that ′feeling′ recently came and we are able to greet you now after a long time."

On the difference between miss A′s hit song, Bad Girl, Good Girl and new song Only You, Min explained, "If you compare miss A from Bad Girl, Good Girl, there has been a lot of transformations. The song′s concept and feeling, and even the description that the song explains is different. Back then, we were chic and suggestive, but now, the song is cute but sexy and suggestive at the same time. I think it′s good."

Regarding the fact that the public attention has been focusing mainly on Suzy, Jia shared, "Because our youngest acts a lot, her image as an actor is really strong. She actually had a new project, but she decided not to do it for miss A promotions. It meant that she wanted to do more team activities. We′ve all been doing a lot of individual activities, and compared to other artists, miss A hasn′t released a lot of albums. Our hiatus period was quite long. Through this promotional period, we want to show a lot, and if the public gives us a lot of love for it, we believe that we′ll be noticed more as a team."

Miss A will hold its first comeback performance through Mnet′s M COUNTDOWN on April 2.

Appearing before the public after confirming her relationship with Lee Min Ho, miss A′s Suzy didn′t shy away from the topic.

On March 30, miss A held its seventh project album Colors showcase at the K Art Hall in Olympic Park, where Suzy talked about making a comeback as well as her relationship with Lee Min Ho.

On March 23, one media outlet caught Suzy on a date with Lee Min Ho in London, causing the two parties to confirm their relationship status. Suzy′s agency, JYP Entertainment, stated, "Suzy and Lee Min Ho have been carefully dating for about a month. It hasn′t been that long since they started dating, and as she′s still young at age 20, please look over them with warmth."

Although the agency has already officially stated a confirmation, as this was Suzy′s first appearance before the public since the dating rumors broke out, press and fans alike have been pouring much attention to the showcase.

Being a popular girl group member, talking about her relationship is not quite easy, but Suzy, with her free-spirited personality, decided to face it directly.

Before receiving questions from the press, Suzy brought up the topic of Lee Min Ho first, even answering questions about Lee Min Ho honestly. She tried to be considerate of her fellow members, preventing all the questions from being focused on her.

"Because I′ve been doing a lot of activities, I didn′t realize how long it has been since we released an album. Somehow, it′s already been a year and five months. Before everything, there′s something I want to say. I think I made last week very busy for everyone. Thank you for coming despite it being so busy."

Suzy continued, "I′m sure there are a lot of things everyone′s curious about, but I′m very careful as this is a place to talk about miss A′s long-awaited comeback. So instead of all the things you′re curious about, I would appreciate it if you could talk a lot more about miss A′s album and music. I′m meeting Lee Min Ho well, so please just support us."

Regarding their London date, Suzy answered, "We coincidentally had a photo shoot around the same time, so we were able to meet in London. There was nothing really special about London. We went on a drive, ate together, and just dated like everyone else."

On Lee Min Ho′s charms, Suzy answered, "I don′t know exactly what it is, but he′s very considerate. He′s also a very warm person, and I grew fond of him because of that."

Talking about the enormous amount of attention that′s been poured on the new star couple, Suzy said, "Because we both have to work, I think the best thing is for us to just quietly keep working. We′ll meet when we have time."

"Because [miss A] is making a comeback, I′ll be quite busy, so we′ll just cheer each other on from afar and meet well as we continue our individual work."

After the showcase was over, Suzy told the press, "Thank you for coming despite your busy schedules. Please post up a lot of pretty pictures."

Min, Jia, and Fei are some of the best dancers in Kpop but all of them have different style and they were never in perfect sync. I just have a feeling they don't do continuous, repetitive dance practice that other groups do. Plus this time around, they had multiple choreography for the showcase, so I think they had less practice for each dance.

It's been not even a month since they finished the mv and that dance scene was one of their last ones. Girls were probably exhausted and sometimes Suzy showed up with huge eyebags under her eyes. It was pretty rushed, tbh.

Now I want my girls to perform all those songs. Im divided between Love song and I Caught Ya (Suzy did great writing those lyrics) and I love the rocky sound) as a second track. They all did sooooo good performing. Babies are so mature about everything in every interview and they respect each other so much. Suzy, Min and Fei vocals keep on improving and Jia is getting better by the day. Girls are SLAYING the charts TOO.I LOVE THEM SO MUCH AND I THINK I GONNA CRY AGAIN, BYE.

They just had their fourth melon roof hit. I think this song might be the public friendly song they've been looking for since Goodbye Baby, maybe even Good Girl, Bad Girl. At first I thought that people were just curious about Miss A after 1.5 years, but a fourth melon hit on the second day is amazing.

Even though I think they could have had a better title song, I'm still happy for the girls. I want another comeback this year. I also want group cf, they haven't had one in a long time.

One thing that I love about Miss A is the way they dance, and this moves doesn't do them justice :(

I don't think most of Miss A choreo do them justice, especially in the non-title tracks or the new routines they do for the year end gayos, but the way they hit the moves are impressive. So many of the choreos in the showcase are rehash of the same moves they've been doing since they debuted.

its so awkward that fei, min, and jia need to answer questions about suzy getting all the attention all the time. they KNOW korea loves suzy and that she's pretty much miles ahead in terms of success and public exposure...why is that something that needs to be talked about all the time. I watched the showcase live and loved it so much! I really missed my girls, I just wish it was longer.

I'm forever loling at the maknae being way taller than the unnies even if she's with flat shoes and they are wearing high heels.

and I'm so proud of suzy's maturity when speaking about her relationship and setting the reporters straight over the reason of the showcase.

also I love how straight forward the girls are about how they feel about suzy's popularity, never hitting around the bushes.
