“Show Me the Money 4″ Scheduled for Late June Broadcast

Mnet‘s popular hip hop competition show “Show Me the Money” will most likely be returning for its fourth season later this year.



On March 3, an associate from Mnet told the media that “‘Show Me the Money 4′ will air sometime this year. Producer Go Ik Jo will be in charge of this season.” According to their report, as the production team is focusing on their currently-airing hip hop show “Unpretty Rapstar,” the planning for the fourth season of “Show Me the Money” has yet to be started. However, they are hoping for a late June premiere.

“Show Me the Money” is one of the most well-known hip hop-related TV show, broadcasted by Mnet. It has helped the careers of numerous rappers like Swings, Mad Clown, Vasco, and Bobby.

They're so ridiculous I'll watch them do anything tbh. I loved how in the first episode everyone was so terrified to audition for them and then by the end they're like "whatever we do, people call us cute!"

I would like to see at least some different mentors this season though, just to mix things up a bit.

lmao at first i was annoyed with bobby really buying into their try-hardness, but by the end i was like YESSS PLS GO ON STAGE WITH A GLASS OF CHAMPAGNE AND THROW MONEY AROUND YESSSS

yeah, there probably should be new mentors, but i am just too entertained by them. plus they showed up on unpretty rapstar, so they must still be interested in doing that kind of thing *crosses fingers*

Personally I was kinda disappointed in last season... it's not like the first two were amazing, just something was off. I had no time to watch it and when I decided to catch up I found out Bobby won and just... it's not like I'm saying he's not worthy or something, it's kinda...
Plus  there's no chance SMTM4 will be less of a sausage fest that prev seasons, ugh
At least Swings is in army now :p

never really followed last season all the way through, just bits and pieces so i'm not that familiar with how things work.
how are they with showcasing the talents of rappers that are not 'mainstream' known? because i feel that a lot of rappers from SMTM3 were people whose names have been out there.
