Skrillex & Diplo were performing @ Ultra Music Festival Diddy and CL did a guess performance
She did her thing. Performed her part of Dirty Vibe & MTBD, people were to busy parting to notice that she was rapping in Korean. If the song is good and strong I don't think people care so no need to make a "special" western album

It's literally a handful of people saying that mostly ignorant pressed little twats, my twitter tl was flooded with rts of people asking who she is, saying she's hot, saying she's good etc. etc. I wouldn't concentrate on a few of those because as soon as she drops her album they'll disappear

The fact that she got t perform in front of what? 7 million viewers is amazing. She did her thing and even got to perform in korean. Diplo might be a twat but he actually does care about her and he works hard to promote her, he was also very sweet holding her hand as she was climbing up and down that stage and the fact that him and Sonny invited her back up the stage shows they really want her to do well and to promote her.

ok i understand beauty standards are vastly different in asia as opposed to the west but like... in what world is cl considered "ugly"? imo she's probably one of the most gorgeous girls in k-pop (and in general if we're being honest) and from what i've observed in interviews/videos, she seems confident in the way she looks even when people in korea deem her as "unattractive". even if they really don't like her, who are they to judge how she looks anyways? whatever, i hope she continues to slay because she's great.

I am not really impressed by this performance. Good she is getting out here, but this doesnt scream mainstream to me.

I played the dirty vibe mv for my sister and her husband and they genuinely liked CL and GD. Tho they did say he needed to turn his swag down a lil lol

I honestly think this is the crowd she should be aiming for and judging by the producers she's hanging with, it seems likely. She can see a lot of success if she goes down edm/pop road but no one is going to take her seriously if she's just trying to be a rapper.

I think this is awesome, and it's cool that she got to perform like this. But the media blowing it up as (well the Korean media / Kpop media) her "winning over" the audience and turning her into this big thing. I think that's totally not the case. It's Ultra! When I was at Ultra I didn't give a sh*t who was performing, too busy going crazy (and rolling) which I feel like is the case here. Still hella awesome that she could perform and I think she'll do OK!
