Secret′s Song Ji Eun Says Her Sexiness is Artificial

Secret member Song Ji Eun made a humble assessment regarding her sexiness.

In the recently released April issue of @star1, Song Ji Eun participated in a photoshoot and interview.

When told that Secret tends to show many sexy concepts, Song Ji Eun replied, "Most of the members have that sexiness, so I always think I have to catch up to them."

"So my sexiness isn′t out in the open, but actually a sexy beauty that I had to work hard for."

"Basically, my sexiness isn′t really natural, but is artificially made through lots of practice."

When asked which male singer she would like to do a unit group promotion with, Song Ji Eun answered with a shy smile, "I want to sing with rappers. My voice is more on the sweet side, so I think it′ll sound good with rappers."

For the April issue of @star1, released on March 23, Song Ji Eun participated in the photo shoot with the ′Black and Pink′ concept with luxury beauty brand, Hera.

Other beauty pictorials will include ′Anticipated Female Idols in 2015,′ Nine Muses′ Hyuna, Secret′s Song Ji Eun, EXID′s Junghwa and Rainbow′s Hyun Young.

I find that sexy is something that can to a certain extent be taught-if you're a girl, do the bend over move, come hither glance, if you're a boy, lip bites and body rolls etc- but people who exude a natural sexiness are very rare.Someone like Lee Hyori or CL or Hyosung where they don't have to try for it, they just are.But sexy is subjective too so hmm.
Jieun has never struck me as particularly sexy but there's this confidence and energy about her that makes her fun to watch.I would love for her to collab with more rappers (mourns loss of Zelo/Jieun duets)

idk, the 'taught' sexy can look so forced. case in point, I've still never found Hyuna sexy. Her 'sexy' looks forced and awkward to me.
I guess it's also parts subjective?

I agree, there are some people that no matter how much training you give them will never look natural doing sexy.With Hyuna I do find her sexy forced but she has enough natural charisma that it can be pulled off.Compare her to someone like G.na and the difference is glaringly obvious.

Hyosung and Hana always stand out more when they have sexy concepts but Jieun doesn't really look forced or awkward to me as some other girl group members who are forced to do a sexy concept. But it is pretty obvious it's something she's worked on rather than it coming naturally.

And Jieun's never struck me as sexy. Charimastic and talented, yes, but she doesn't own her looks like Hana and Hyosung. But her stages have always reflected that, which is something I've appreciated. Only group songs have forced her into a sexy concept, while her solo stuff has always suited her aesthetic well. Except 25, but she said that was an experiment herself.
