A video of the Lee Tae Im vs Yewon cursing incident has leaked

Earlier in the month, we reported on the controversy surrounding Lee Tae Im and Yewon’s cursing incident during the filming of MBC‘s “Tutoring Across Generations”. Now, the video of the incident has been leaked.

The incident died down after Dispatch released a transcript of the video, because the actual footage could not be found. However, the video has now finally been leaked from anonymous sources causing the controversy to resurface again.

Yep, that's my issue. They're both at fault for the incident (Yeri was being deliberately rude; Tae-Im totally overreacted), but Star Empire's lies after this have painted Yewon as the angelic victim, and from what I've read, they've basically maneuvered/kept on the pressure to get Tae-Im exiled from the industry (e.g. she got fired from her show) to cover up Yewon's tracks.

It's important to remember that this is an ENTIRELY different culture from the one you grew up in. Speaking informally is a huuuuuuge deal in South Korea, and I've heard that in business and in acting it's REALLY REALLY important to be formal unless explicitly told otherwise.

Just something worth keeping in mind when reading this.

LTI was wrong, but if you watch the video, she did greet Yewon happily and Yewon greeted her laughing "is it cold" (an obvious question) then LTI asked if she didn't want to go inside water, and Yewon still smiling said "no" informal. Then LTI started to get angry and asked if she was talking informally, and Yewon said laughing, "no" again informally, like she was provoking LTI, she talked four times informally and this just made things worse.

Then her company media played that Yewon never talked informally and that Yewon was just worried and gave LTI a towel out of concern, but we see she didn't.

In Korea it is EXTREMELY rude to speak informally (unless the other person says it's okay). According to the video, it seems that Lee Tae Im did not approve of Yewon speaking informally to her. Yewon speaking informally was wrong on her part. HOWEVER!! Lee Tae Im did not have to swear at her, she could've just corrected her. Swearing at Yewon was a bad part on her (Lee Tae Im) part.

In other words: "I think they are both at fault"

Yewon was being rude af. She spoke informaly and laughed at LTI even after LTI already called her out on it.
Idk if you guys have a hierarchy culture like Korea's but acting like that towards a senior is extremely rude.

That and the fact that Dispatch and Star Empire worked together to cover it up. They released statements saying that LTI came at her for no reason after Yewon gave her towel (what towel!?? lmao). And that Yewon was crying while LTI was going off on her when Yewon was actually giving her death glares lol.



Also the fact the LTI got fired for this because everyone thought she blew up at Yewon for no reason and that Yewon was completely innocent.
