i'm really excited to see where they both go from here & how they improve through their career. i think it was an interesting match (though obvious, you know, pit the youngest against each other) because i feel like both have different strengths, like if we combined them into one person you'd have an amazing performer. jidam needs to learn a bit of crowd working and kisum could probably tighten up her live diction/etc (imo but i don't speak korean so she might be perfectly fine, she just sometimes sounds unclear to me compared to the others). either way it was great to see truly up-and-coming rappers on the show so i hope if there is a series 2 we get similar nurturing-the-young storylines
they were all released & streamed etc (both cheetah & jimin's tracks last week hit number 1 if i rememebr correctly), idk if they're actually going to be on the compilation album
Someone translated the song in the youtube comments.
She's been beautiful since she was born Nose that's sticking out, how come these eyes are so bright When she smiles it's better than highest rank It's radiant like sunshine in the morning Just by looking at it Mood is getting better and better Time goes by But you're still just like a little girl (your) Every single act is cute You'd better know it Pretty, cool, lovely W-w-wonderful Even if I compare you to every single word in this world It still seems so lacking She gotta super power Yes, she's got it She's more powerful than Hulk - woman power You could see it sometimes in TV The strongest woman in this world, huh - that's my mama Not boasting it, it's an obvious fact Everyone claims that Everybody, look at her - I'm right? You've seen her - it's MY mom My love my mommy, person that I love the most in this world
Just as I did before and now, I love you, love you, love you Whenever you want to give up and cry Remember that you're not alone Don't forget about it You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
Just as my height is getting higher My mom's becoming smaller Mom's bosom becoming smaller Now it's my turn to embrace you You better know that it has just started Right now, in here I may not have an ability to buy you an expensive watch But I promise, I promise the best time I promise, I promise I'm giving it to you There's no need to be sorry Thank you mom How about this weekend? Let's drink some beer
Just as I did before and now, I love you, love you, love you Whenever you want to give up and cry Remember that you're not alone Don't forget about it You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
Please stay by my side until you die No, after you die, please promise That you'll be with me In my next, and next And very next life I'll be your daughter All the time, ever ever forever
I want to do it, too I feel the same as you You're my one and only You're my girl Whenever you want to give up and cry Remember that you're not alone Don't forget about it You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
Jidam needs to learn how to connect with the audience more, but she's already good. I'm glad she's having a lot of spotlight, I'm interested with how she'll go on after the show. Same with Kisum, her future in the music industry interest me. I think she could go far, she's already at ease on stage, and her music seems public-friendly. Honestly I liked both performances, though I would have give it to Kisum (at least comparing the two songs).

Date: 2015-03-27 05:18 pm (UTC)I thought they both did better than I expected from what I've been reading (haven't watched through the whole thing)
Watching everyone tear up, especially Kisum's mom, just got me right in the feels.
Are these their songs that go on the album? I am still confused about how exactly that works.

Nose that's sticking out, how come these eyes are so bright
When she smiles it's better than highest rank
It's radiant like sunshine in the morning
Just by looking at it
Mood is getting better and better
Time goes by
But you're still just like a little girl
(your) Every single act is cute
You'd better know it
Pretty, cool, lovely
W-w-wonderful
Even if I compare you to every single word in this world
It still seems so lacking
She gotta super power
Yes, she's got it
She's more powerful than Hulk - woman power
You could see it sometimes in TV
The strongest woman in this world, huh - that's my mama
Not boasting it, it's an obvious fact
Everyone claims that
Everybody, look at her - I'm right?
You've seen her - it's MY mom
My love my mommy, person that I love the most in this world
Just as I did before and now, I love you, love you, love you
Whenever you want to give up and cry
Remember that you're not alone
Don't forget about it
You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
Just as my height is getting higher
My mom's becoming smaller
Mom's bosom becoming smaller
Now it's my turn to embrace you
You better know that it has just started
Right now, in here
I may not have an ability to buy you an expensive watch
But I promise, I promise the best time
I promise, I promise I'm giving it to you
There's no need to be sorry
Thank you mom
How about this weekend?
Let's drink some beer
Just as I did before and now, I love you, love you, love you
Whenever you want to give up and cry
Remember that you're not alone
Don't forget about it
You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
Please stay by my side until you die
No, after you die, please promise
That you'll be with me
In my next, and next
And very next life
I'll be your daughter
All the time, ever ever forever
I want to do it, too
I feel the same as you
You're my one and only
You're my girl
Whenever you want to give up and cry
Remember that you're not alone
Don't forget about it
You can cry in my arms as much as you want to
