i think it would be cute to have a gradual romance blossom out of them solving the mystery of her memory loss/twin's kidnapping with him. but i would like most of the series to be them being unlikely allies/best friend super sleuths.

i def don't want it to be romantic right off the bat, i would be sorta uncomfortable. if they have a tiny kiss in the last episode or something i wouldn't mind though.

Myunjoo is such a darling and is one of the few model/actors that I actually like in variety. I'm glad to see he seems to have a promising acting career

Lee Minho decided to do The Heirs since he knows its gonna be big and its true since the drama is soo famous despite having a really crappy production and script.

Plus, I think he still didnt get paid for the work he did in Faith (which is a good drama) despite it was penned by a famous writer and directed by a famous director. The drama's production cost are expensive and many people didnt get paid thats why Lee Phillip left in the middle of it. :/

faith was medicore, the cartoon villian was annoying as hell but the romance/chemistry and secondary villian (the king's brother/uncle w/e) was great.

wow that's so sad. i googled the whole faith mess and it was awful. i feel bad for everyone involved.

Years ago when he was only known as GD's model friend, my sister and I would always just call him "guy with the rat face". The long wavy hair did very bad things to him.

I was so shocked at how hot he looks with short hair, honestly didn't realize it was the same person until another BFFs for life article came out.

honestly, i think he would benefit tremendously from variety appearances. he doesnt even need to be OTT but if he's cute and earnest he'll definitely attract attention. i mean, HJH aint even all that (lemme stop, i kinda love him) but his appearance on running man generated a lot of good press for him.

he was REALLY good in valid love. his acting has improved SO MUCH he just doesnt get very many opportunities to play such a fleshed out character. he is so criminally underrated, IMO. i'm sure this is the bias in me speaking but i just need more of LSH everywhere all the time forever.

Umm i like Nam Joo Hyuk but I fail to see how casting him is better than debuting newbies when he literally has only one drama on his resume and he was only passable there because he was cute. Plus, there are plenty of grown up child actors who could use this role to break out of child actor territory. So if NJH is really the lead, he better do a good job and prove me wrong because as of this moment, I don't think that he deserved this kind of opportunity.

i wasn't aware that he had a fanbase big enough to impact ratings. But I don't feel that any of those things matter .-. From what I've seen, fanbase doesn't get you anywhere in the drama world. That's why idols =/= good ratings. His fanbase could maybe get the drama 1% higher for the first episode, but that 1% increase won't stay for the entire run if his acting sucks. Plus, this is the School franchise lol I feel like that alone already gives the drama an edge. If they wanted him for that tiny bonus, they shouldve made him a second lead/supporting. I feel like that would make more sense and I wouldve actually been really happy about that. I just don't think he's lead material just yet and I'm afraid that he's gonna be Ahn Jaehyun 2.0

Yeah I didn't say that logic made sense. Look at Hyun Bin's flop drama. Korea (entertainment industry) never learns.

The-asshole-impregnates-breaks-ribs-and-postpones-military-service was in the same position as NJH back in Playful Kiss (except way more famous and with both the 2xS fandom plus BOF fame plus Flowerboy fame), and that drama still flopped. (but made a lot of money internationally).
