MC Mong to Participate in ′Unpretty Rapstar′ as Producer with No Broadcast Appearance

With reports that MC Mong is returning to variety through Mnet′s Unpretty Rapstar, the staff has made an official statement.

The staff of Mnet′s Unpretty Rapstar stated on March 25, "It is true that MC Mong will be participating as the producer of the final track, but he will not be appearing on broadcast."

"MC Mong has also expressed that he will be donating all of the production cost."

One news outlet reported earlier in the day that MC Mong will be appearing on Unpretty Rapstar. As it would be his first appearance on a variety program since September of 2010 on KBS′ 1 Night 2 Days, the issue gathered much attention.




MC Mong′s agency, Dream Tea Entertainment also stated, "MC Mong did give a song as a producer to Unpretty Rapstar."

"However, it has nothing to do with broadcast appearances. We only gave the song. There′s no connection to a broadcast appearance."

"We don′t even know when the last filming of Unpretty Rapstar is. As we′ve expressed many times before, we′re only going to be focusing on music. We have no thoughts on returning to variety programs or appearing on broadcast."

Unpretty Rapstar had a total of four producers, who were Block B′s Zico, VerbalJint, MC META, and Lee Hyun Do.

I'm quite surprised that neither Baek Ji Young nor K-Will dethroned her on Melon since they are both digital powerhouses.
I guess it'll be another UR track from tomorrow's show that will eventually do the trick.

Well right now, around 5am, Jimin dropped a bit and Huk Gak is streaming the same as her on Melon so barely he's #1 there but she's still #1 on every other chart and on iChart

Well now I don't think Jimin wins cause no way FC wants Jimin/AoA tainted by Mc Mong. He does kill the charts but they are being super cruel to Ns Yoonji for using him. They intentionally pulled her song down the charts.
