Yoon Mirae Feels Uncomfortable Being Called the Best Female Rapper + Junhyung

Yoon Mirae remained humble regarding her rap skills.

On March 18, Yoon Mirae, Tiger JK and Bizzy of the project group MFBTY held a listening session in Sinsa-dong, where Yoon Mirae appeared embarrassed talking about how people praise her rap skills.

Recently on Mnet′s Unpretty Rapstar, the female participants voted Yoon Mirae as the best female rapper in Korea. Still on top, Yoon Mirae said, "It feels good. It would be a lie to say I didn′t like it, but it is very burdensome."

After thinking about it for awhile, Yoon Mirae continued, "I′m still learning. I only have thoughts to work harder. I′m so thankful. My burdens get that much bigger. It′s also kind of embarrassing. I feel a bit uncomfortable. Whenever I hear that, I don′t know how to react."

"Thank you for seeing me in a kind manner. I′ll work hard."

MfBTY released its first official album WondaLand on March 19. The album features many artists, such as the rock legend, Jeon In Kwon, the talented hip-hop musician Dok2, indie band Windy City′s Kim Banjang, world-renowned electronic duo EE, new generation diva Song Seung Yeon, producer idols BTS′ Rap Monster, B2ST′s Yong Jun Hyung and more.

Tiger JK′s Prejudice Against B2ST′s Yong Jun Hyung Dissolved After Working with Him



Tiger JK opened up about working on his new album with B2ST′s Yong Jun Hyung.

On March 18, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae and Bizzy of the project group, MFBTY, met in Sinsa, where Tiger JK praised Yong Jun Hyung, who was featured in their new song Let It Go.

"There was a lot of prejudice about us working with Yong Jun Hyung. It′s a K-Pop album that we′ve redefined and there were a lot of questions regarding our collaborations with idol rappers," explained Tiger JK. "There were some responses through SNS saying we shouldn′t and that our class levels were different, but I wanted to tear down that wall and have fun working together."

"We actually made the request for him after looking for someone who produces and makes their own music. He thought about it for about 20 days. Even the prejudice that we held broke down. He kept on analyzing the song over and over again, asking, ′How about we do it like this?′ and making different suggestions. I enjoyed doing something together that not many people have high hopes for."

"He gave us a lot of help and a lot of tips. At first, this song, Let It Go was this kind of song. But because his direction and sense was fresh, a new song was born," said Tiger JK, quite satisfied with the results.

Much respect about them breaking down biases against Junhyung and collaborating with idols. I can only hope Suga rises to that level of fame (or higher).

i just love how the people on omona who are familiar with bangtan talk about how much they want suga to take the spotlight because they feel that people are not talking enough about him (which is true). makes me happy to see how many people recognize his talent and want him to get out there. i'm really happy and proud with how well namjoon has been doing this past month. here's to hoping that yoongi's mixtape will also open a lot of doors for him. he deserves it!

I'm glad people recognize it, and I'm not entirely sure that bigHit doesn't recognize it. BH seems to be taking its time with each member, and they let him produce. I think it's more that other idols, rappers and MCs don't call on Suga. When top 10 lists are made, Rapmon gets listed, but not Suga. And Suga wears his heart on his sleeve, so you can see how eager he is to get recognized,a nd any fan of him, automatically wants to put his skill out there so he doesn't feel overlooked. I never want to take away from Rapmon, because he is so amazing, but I also don't want Suga to get swallowed up and wither because he feels like he's not seen. (Sorry, long ramble lol)

THIS. there have been moments where i felt bad for rapmon because when news broke that he was releasing a mixtape some fans were already commenting 'where's suga's/j-hope's?' and being rude about it. bighit knows their talents and i'm sure that they will support him and j-hope just as much when they release their mixtapes. suga has been working on it for a while and he seems very critical of himself and at what he makes, but he also takes imense pride in his work (like he has been promoting 'let me know' more that the album itself and the same goes for 'tommorow' and 'jump' from SLA). he obviously supports rapmon and is proud of him. here's to hoping that his time will come (which i don't doubt). we'll probably have to wait a big longer though with the bangtan comeback in may which i'm excited for!!. if bighit's smart they'll choose one of suga's songs to promote (as a follow up track is good too) because his songs are quality! (i'm sorry, i'm rambling too)

Exactly! I just always worry an unhealthy rivalry will come between them, and I would hate that. I also hope their fans don't stir things up either, as fandoms tend to do. I just want all of the boys to get to shine, since clearly they all have the talent and capability to. I also agree, I hope they promote one of Suga's songs, because his songs tend to be my favorite. He gets the bass so nice, and makes jellyjam perfections that I end up loving as soon as I hear the beat drop.

yes, both him and j-hope announced last year that they are working on their mixtapes. suga even posted a little video back in november were he talked about the proces.
