MBLAQ to Comeback as Three Member Group in Late April or early May



For the first time since members Lee Joon and Thunder announced their departure from the group, boy band MBLAQ will be making a comeback!

On March 19, the group’s management agency J. Tune Camp announced, “MBLAQ will return with a new song in late April or early May, but rather than a five member group as a three member group consisting of Seungho, Mir, and G.O.

“Three member group MBLAQ will return with a mini album. The members are currently working hard on the album,” shared J. Tune Camp.

Meanwhile, J. Tune Camp announced in a press release in December of last year that after negotiations for the renewal of their contracts, the company decided to “respect the opinions of [Lee Joon and Thunder] and let them go their individual ways.”

I think the HAVE to be successful this time. Honestly they have it all, a decent rapper, an excellent singer and a great leader, Thunder was just that extra member and Joon was a good and charismatic visual but they both are replaceable.

I'm very curious to see how this plays out. I wish them nothing but the best, but imo lee joon was the majority of the charisma of the group. definitely looking forward to seeing these three shine :)

Honestly Joon was a decent visual, good variety star, and great dancer, BUT this line up will be perfectly fine.
It's actually very well-rounded. They lost a lot of dead wait (who will be missed but weren't vital).

I have no faith in JTunes in the management field.
The only pros of this company is:

Seungho will always be my top kpop male bias and I´m glad I'll get to see him do more music!

MBLAQ is(was?) my favorite kpop group and to be completely honest I won't miss thunder at all, Joon was probably only important visual/charisma wise, but I love MBLAQ's music and with G.O & Seungho's voice and Mir's rap I{m sure their music will be just as good or even more than before.

Will miss the 5 village idiots together though.

I'm so happy for my Chopin oppa. He was one of my first kpop biases and I really didn't wanna see his talent be wasted in such a sad way. I was worried him and GO were gonna practically waste away. I'm not a Mir fan but hey as long as I get to see and hear Seungho, it's ok. Wish them luck.
