How do you spend your days off?

Practicing at the company, learning Chinese at a foreign language academy, and I also exercise a lot. When you’re having a comeback there isn’t a lot of time to exercise… I manage my body mainly by adjusting my diet. On days off I like to do pilates and ride bikes. I should run on the track in front of the company.

Fiestar’s comeback is right in front of you, what’s your target this time around?

During “One More” we were briefly unable to do broadcasts, but I think more people know our name now. This time I want to finish activities without incident and have more people know Fiestar and listen to our songs.

What view do you want the public to get from Fiestar this time?

If you look at it simply, even though there have been similar concepts before, this is more mature. Like the title we’re showcasing black and white colors that may seem very mundane but actually show a very expensive and sexy look.

What’s life as the leader like? Do you have any special role in the team?

It’s a lot more complicated than you think. But the members are really polite and comfortable [with each other]. When you look at it from outside, we’ve been living together for 3 years so we get along like a family and I’m grateful that they can always lend a hand when I need it. The thing above leader is… visual? (Smiles)

From Jei’s point of view, what are the members attractions?

Unnie is a foreigner, so they way she speaks is a little awkward and sometimes you have to steer her in the right direction, but it’s very endearing. She also likes shopping for baby clothes, but more often she goes shopping in Dongdaemun. She cooks Chinese food at the dorm often, and she cooks really well! When you look at the maknae, on the surface she may seem full of charisma, but deep down she’s much different. Hyemi looks young, but since she spent a long time as a trainee, she has a lot of hidden strength and perseverance. Once you get to know Linzy she has a lot of attractive points. Her acting and singing skills are really firm.

Between acting and singing, which one is harder and which one is easier?

Both are hard. But I’ve been watching a lot of musicals lately and I realized “singing can share emotions like that too”. No matter what the genre is, if I understand that feeling I can grow more.

People usually like to see musicals. Is that what you do with your free time?

I can’t go often, but I usually go to one musical a month. I like to watch movies too. I enjoy mainly crime, thriller or horror movies.

Who is a role model you want to be like?

Lee Hyori sunbaenim! Her performances and singing are cool, but there’s a lot to be learned from the way she lives her life. She does a lot of community service activities and since I also really like animals, seeing her participating in animal rights campaigns made me want to do something like that as well. After I debuted it’s been hard to find time, but I think good deeds are cool.

Are you the type to confess, or wait to be confessed to?

I’m not good at expressing when I like someone. I really think people who are good at confessing are amazing, because when I like someone I can’t speak to them well. In school I had crushes, but I couldn’t confess so i just created scenarios inside my head.

What kind of love does Jei dream of?

A comfortable love like being friends. A love where we could do anything like just eating food together. But I want to be in love with someone that I can form a consensus with. If you can’t find a middle ground with that person it’s not going to work out.
