Really? I feel like he's the same guy rapping about average stuff (now with more money). Like those lyrics there are relatable even if you aren't famous. He seems to be feeling some pressure while steadily gaining fame. A lot of things he didn't have to worry about before are under scrutiny (like dating). I'm sure that never stops being frustrating so he's learning how to shake it off now.
idk i just feel like his lyrics back during his jazzyfact days were so much better. he hasn't written anything like always awake or smoking dreams, his 24:26 lyrics were still good but after that idk. he seems to be stuck in a rut. i don't think he feels pressure at all, i feel like he's def gotten more and more arrogant since dali van picasso's success.
I would say he's more confident. He's showing himself a lot more and this is the guy who would say he didn't want to go out on public broadcast because he's not good-looking or whatever. He's holding his chin up more and I like that because dodging the limelight seems futile when you're so sought after. Don't really think he is stuck in a rut, but he's just in a different place now. Those songs were back when he still unsigned and working his way up but overall, I've seen more of a quality difference in 24:26 (I'm not the biggest fan) than some of the more recent stuff he's put out.
meh, i guess we'll just have to agree to disagree. i def think he peaked with life's like and 24:26 was good, but not perfect. up all night was fun but unremarkable. i hope he goes back his jazzyfact route but i don't think he will bc, like you said, he's in a different place right now.

I'm not surprised. I think people forget he only blew up within the past 4 years or so. Even things like going on tv or making music videos in which he actually appears is something he would barely do and still doesn't to an extent. A lot of things have changed for him within a short time and he has gotten a lot of flack for no big deal, I feel like (like the clothes he wears now, but his style is still plain imo). Or he's always been in a relationship (he was in a relationship when he "debuted") but now it's an actual topic of discussion. I was surprised when I saw he was gonna be on that 4show, lol. I feel like he is just drawing a line with this song.

Ahaha, yeah! When I first got into him he was some feature I would come back to on the mixtape of another rapper. A short feature, lol. There was no face to his name but he had a distinctive voice so when he first signed to Illionaire, I was like "why does this guy sound so familiar????" This was like 2010, so not long ago at all. You couldn't google him back then and the only sites talking about him were...his own blog, lol. The 4show thing is recent-it's on Mnet and some of their videos get posted here from time to time. They feature an artist and I guess they follow them around for a day or a couple days while they work and stuff? I've never watched but that's the idea I get.

i was surprised he did 4thingshow, but i guess out of every show on korean tv this would be the one to do. aomg, zico, dok2, zion.t & crush have had their own so i guess connection wise it makes sense. i think he showed up on dok2's episode too. i need to watch season 2. i actually like this show and find it interesting.
