Shin Hae Chul’s doctor refutes medical negligence conclusion in investigation of the singer’s death

Shin Hae Chul’s doctor has refuted the claims made in the recently released police investigation results, which say that the late singer’s death was a result of medical negligence.

On the March 8 broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV,” Dr. Kang from Sky Hospital states that he never performed a stomach reduction surgery, and that he “can’t accept the results of the investigation because it was carried out with weak emotions.”

Dr. Kang says, “First, it’s incorrect that they are saying [the perforations] happened while performing a surgery I didn’t get consent for. I did not cut even one percent of the stomach.”

Regarding the inappropriate post-treatment, the doctor claims that he readmitted Shin Hae Chul on October 20, but that the singer’s manager just took him and left.

If they performed a surgery without consent, even if he was still alive he could sue them. How can they not know if it happened or not? The shape must be different.

cant they trace back consent forms + surgical notes? like theyre there for a reason, when shit like this happens.

its one thing to be blamed for perforations in a surgery and say 'no there were no perforations', it's a whole other thing to say 'no i never performed the surgery'
