I feel like it's taboo to comment on your own posts first but i'm gonna do it anyways bc i'm here

i don't understand how jimin won, tymee was much MUCH better. she keeps getting by on her ~idol presence~ which is honestly starting to get annoying.

i really dislike jolly V like good her lyrics were harsh when they were about Kissum but the rest of it was complete nonsensical bs she basically said the same thing for like 8 bars and then said she'd cum on kissum's face that's disgusting and i rolled my eyes. and then on her twitter she goes "oh some of the punchlines are lost in translation" i don't fucking think so lmao. i think everything tymee said about her in her diss rap and in her commentary is spot on and jolly v has yet to prove how it isn't the case, it's lame. you're not an "MC rapper and not just a rapper" bc you know like...the 4 biggest names in hip hop and can't rhyme for shit.

i'm kind of sad bc lil cham's rap seemed to actually be kind of funny but then she forgot the good parts, like the transition from korean to english was set up so well. she was the only one with actual punchlines.

jace wasn't that great her lyrics were boring as shit. nagl for jimin to recycle her lines.

jidam's always trying hard and i like that, this is the only time where i've liked her flow bc she wasn't trying so hard with it. it went really well with the beat.

and i actually don't think based on the final raps the person who got eliminated should've gotten eliminated, no way.

Where has Cheetah been all my life, my god she is perfect.

Jessie is blessed with a voice that sounds like she's going hard even when she's not saying much, but I'm a sucker for good tone paired with a good beat and stage presence.

I'm not impressed by jidam whatsoever and I'm still wondering if she writes her own raps, while on the other hand this was the first time I was impressed by Jimin. Although I think it was kind of underhanded how she tried to play the good kid role and talk about positivity in rap when the point of the mission was to battle.

Jolly V embodies everything I hate about Hip hop in Korea, or the ideas of hip hop in Korea. She's not an MC, and I can put money on the fact that the only thing she knows about Nas is his name and maybe a little something else.

Lil Cham sucks and she's the only reason that I'm glad there's eliminations.

No comment on Jace because the only thing I remember about her is her name.

exactly like all she put in her rap was "i cry/laugh like x famous rapper" vs. jessi who incorporated famous lines into her rap???? like if you want to prove something about you being a ~MC rapper~ at least put in effort which she didn't. she couldn't even diss Kissum properly with a beat, and even without the beat she semi-complimented her????

So glad Lil Cham got eliminated. Every time she starts rapping I find myself laughing for some reason. She's awkward to me.

Anyway, after watching the non-eventful rap battle I will have to say Cheetah, Tymee and Jessi went in and they made it enjoyable.

Still not impressed by Jimin, but she still gets picked over other rappers. IDGI
Jace...I kind of feel sorry for her.
Anyway, all is well for me now that Lil Cham is out.

They are really trying to make Jimin the Bobby of this show but they just can't make me hype about her. Bobby had stage presence but he also did a lot of shit that idols just aren't supposed to do so that made him interesting and made you kind of forget he's an idol. Jimin is just so calculated and it's just a snooze fest.

Yuk Ji Dam makes really good beat choices.

I felt bad for Kisum.

Tymee will annoy me until the end of time with her childish ass but at least she impressed me for once.

I'm going to miss watching Lil Cham fail.

Jace is just okay but Brand New had to get that plug for her so I see you.

Jimin did good for the mission.

Her voice was better than usual and she knew how to use the stage and connect with the audience (which is basically what Verbal liked about Jessi too). Her outfit wasn't appropriate to the song though, something a bit more casual would have been better

Tymee did good too and I liked the way she used the stage but she didn't connect with the audience at all, I think that's one of the biggest thing she needs to work on. She kept her eyes closed during the whole perf

I think overall Tymee writing is better but Jimin emotes better

Tymee was a still a bit "flat" in her delivery.

Jessi did as good as expecte and there wasn't even a chanllenge cause Lil Cham has no flow at all, there's nothing there, she can't even "act" on stage, she actually looked drunk

I didn't like Jidam voice during the battle, Cheetah killed it lbr, she slayeeeeeeeeeeeed left and right, Jimin did good and her being last was actually a smart move because she let the others do the actual fight and she presented herself as being above, not needing to fight because she was already "better" which is actually a form of diss because she wasn't even acknowledging them.

Still I think Cheetah did the best, I would go Cheetah>Jimin>Jidam

i was kinda impressed by yuk jidam offering herself against lil cham even though i knew jessi would be chosen haha, she's young and inexperienced and not always delivering but i like her attitude. 'when else will we get the opportunity to insult each other' bless ur heart. i was kinda hoping jessi would go up against someone good who'd call her out for her english though

i hope the and 'idol vs everyone else' storyline comes to an end soon, i'm bored with it. not impressed with her for recycling lyrics but then cheetah did that in the first episode so who am i to judge.

I'm enjoying Tymee vs Jolly V because I'm hoping that off-camera they're actually secret BFFs who just play their fake feud up for drama. Tymee's rap here was the first time I enjoyed her rapping on the show.

I don't know anything about Miss $ or Jace but I am very into her ice bitch demeanour lol. the others seem really resentful of her presence (understandable) but gimme more female rapper friendships! they all shit talked Lil Cham but seeing them cry at the end was such a aww moment.. I hope they did go out for drinks that night haha

Am I the only one who doesn't really feel the animosity between Tymee and Jolly V? They talk like they hate each other but idk their interactions never seem all that hostile to me....

Tymee should definitely have won, I'm bored of everyone being impressed by Jimin's stage presence and much as she's been a pleasant surprise she's not nearly talented enough to make her the 'female bobby' the producers so clearly want. (Also, from the looks of things Bobby dealt with a LOT more crap for being an idol than Jimin's dealing with here like the girls generally seem to get on).

I'm really bummed that Tymee didn't get the track even if she clearly was a lot better than Jimin. I hope now that Jimin has got her track they will stop favoring her and will give the rest of the tracks to people who actually deserve them, especially as there has been quite a bit of criticism against the choice on media and the track hasn't got very good reviews (it's currently rated as 3.3 out of 5 on Melon) even if it's selling well.

Cheetah. I need to make me a Cheetah icon. I am so in love and stanning so hard. *recites Shakespeare* She was so good and it's funny but I feel like on the show she remains low-key as hell until she has to perform haha.

The thing that bothers me about Jimin right now is that she is still kind of just performing and rapping for the audience and not necessarily at anyone. Like, even her battle rap was mostly her defending her place on the show from naysayers(?) and then addressing people in the actual competition at the last minute. She's good but at the same time you can only do your best to a certain extent before you have to eat someone alive. I wonder if she has it in her to do that when the time comes...You can't go through a competition off being refreshing with a unique voice alone, or at least I hope not! D:

Jolly V is so ruthless when it comes to people stepping to her; she's very agressive—even Kisum who had been doing well 'till now got shook. Speaking of, I think Kisum would be so much better if she would memorize her lyrics. Prepare better! I know this was her first slip-up here I think but it was at such a crucial moment; you can't do that. I really agreed with D.O's choice of her when he said she isn't last place out of all 9 because it's true, but she can do better.

I hope Jidam continues to grow and work on her lyrics more. She's no longer in a pool with boys so she's less of a standout than she was on SMTM because she's no longer "shockingly" talented for a young, perky girl holding her own. Now there are other women, it's more intense for her I feel like. Jessi is OK lyrically, but she is super confident and intimidating so I'm sure she may go far on that alone; but I do want to see more from her! I see she is trying to rap in Korean more often too.

Aww, Lil Cham went out nicely though. I'm glad she learned a lot. She really needs to work on being on stage and performing and not just be in the studio. No opinons on Jace yet...

Would really like some women in that judging panel one episode. Someone...lol.

I'm finally caught up and I agree with everyone that Tymee should have won last week. This week Cheetah, Jidam, and Tymee were the best. Jessi is starting to bore me. She has great presence and tone but her lyrics suck and she always throws in too much english which irks me. Jolly V, LOL. I actually really like this whole cast. I'll miss Lil' Cham. She went out with some dignity and didn't embarrass herself so I was proud of her. The new girl was forgettable. I'll have to see how she does in the future.

I'm heavily distracted by Jace's legs. I thought Jolly V's "keeping it real" was a bit too much, but after she posted that translation and explanation I don't mind.

Poor Kisum though...You could see her getting more and more uncomfortable during Jolly's rap until finally she messed up.
