It's organised by the RIAJ so it's pretty legit, I guess. VIXX won Best New Artist too, lol. Tohoshinki won 5 awards (well technically 4 but TREE and WITH are part of Best 3 Albums so) though and SNSD has 2.
lol ngl I was so confused by this awards show at first. When I saw they won Song of the Year by Download, I went ??? because what, how about AKB48? Then I saw "Asia" so everything clicked, lol.
OT but I see Frozen's still going strong in Japan, considering they won both the Domestic and International categories of Song of the Year.
No problem! Idk if they're doing well with physical sales (besides their album, idk if their singles charted), but they seem to be doing fine with digital sales.
