omonatheydidThe team behind the currently airing KBS drama “Blood” voiced their concern regarding the criticisms of Goo Hye Sun‘s acting for the drama.
The representative from IOK Media, the production company behind the drama, told the press, “We didn’t expect there to be so much controversy over Goo Hye Sun’s acting for the drama.” They continued, “She is simply exaggerating with her lines to fit her character, Yoo Ri Ta.”
They also foreshadowed a change in her character to come in future episodes. “As the show progresses, Yoo Ri Ta’s character will also change. By that point, we are certain that the criticism regarding Goo Hye Sun’s acting will dwindle.”
Many viewers have been criticizing the actress’ acting in the drama’s early episodes.

She's pretty but after acting for multiple years if you can't figure out that you're doing sth wrong in a performance (the stupid voice and weird intonation is deliberate), it's bad.

and i personally feel like her fans are more batshit than lee min ho's, because they are still stuck in the BOF mindset and i saw the terrorism they did with park min young that left me in awe.

Idk, he really hasn't shown much charisma or natural talent in any of his other roles. The fact that he was given a shot at YWCFTS in the first place and that he'll continue to get roles after this debacle is solely down to his prettiness IMO.

But maybe she still deserves flack even if she has improved, because having over a decade of experience and a trail of dramas that were marred by your poor acting in your wake, to just now be getting decent/competent after being given chance after chance solely because you're beautiful whilst talented actresses who aren't conventionally pretty never got that shot is a little infuriating.

It's not like she was ever going to voluntarily give up a lucrative profession which kept giving her jobs/opportunities.
