lol a friend just showed this to me and another friend and it was weird because I saw it as blue/black and she saw it as gold/white o_O.
I really like the song and the jazzy feeling it has and the dance is really on point. The MV is cheesy as I expected but that's typical of their japanese releases so w/e. I didn't understand if she's dating all of them at the same time or it's all an imagined thing.

I was just watching the MV and all the black/white blue/gold suits and sets and started cackling.
Seems like the dress debacle even overtook the voracity of Left Shark.

The real dress is blue with black trim.
The photograph is so overexposed that the dress is pale blue with brown trim in the image.
At this point I'm assuming the people calling it white/gold have a far less strict definition of white or gold than I use.

I swear to you it looks like a genuinely white and gold to me just in blueish shade. But my mind is convinced that if you take it in the sunlight it's full white and shimmery gold :) Depends on folks. And I swear I'm strict with my colors.

I read that it's your brain messing with you, the same way that if you put something red in a room lit by red light, you'll assume it's white. Here we have blue in blue light

The first time I saw it, I saw it as black and blue and couldn't for the life of me understand how anyone could see it as white & gold. I thought it was just some prank. But then after I scrolled down an article and then scrolled back up to the picture, it was white and gold with no trace of blue or black. It's been changing for me all day and it's hella annoying by now :D

When I clicked on this post is was white and gold but now I scrolled up again to check and it's black and blue.

I wish I could see the dress as white-gold even just a second to understand what the others see. it's been blue-black for me all of the time. And it's not even light blue that could be seen as white whit a bluish shade, it's almost cobalt blue for me.
I just don't understand how some people keep insisting the dress MUST be white-gold even if it's been proven to be blue-balck.

I thought I escaped this ugly fucking dress!! It's always been blue and black to me (more of a dark muddy color instead of black in that shitty photo) and no matter what I can't see white and gold. The dress irl is blue and black. It has to do with the cones and rods in your eyes and how they percieve colors. tokyocinema 's link explains it. It has nothing to do with your emotions or whatever peeps are saying.
