Lee Byung Hun Makes a 110 Second Apology at the Airport; Says Sorry to His Fans and Family

Actor Lee Byung Hun and his wife Lee Min Jung were reported to return to Korea together on February 26. Lee Byung Hun indeed showed up with Lee Min Jung at the promised time, and after escorting his pregnant wife out of the airport, he came back to stand in front of reporters and cameras for a brief interview.

He started off saying, “I am sorry for not giving an apology earlier.” Referring to himself as “someone famous” and “the head of a family,” he said, “I have made many people uncomfortable and disappointed.”

He ended the interview mentioning Lee Min Jung saying, “I have a huge debt to my family that cannot be repaid over my life time, and have been reproached for this also. I will use this place to apologize to everyone once again. I am sorry.” Lee Byung Hun then bowed deeply in front of the cameras.

After the interview, which was about a minute and 50 seconds long, he followed Lee Min Jung out of the airport to go to their house in Kwang-ju. Because Lee Min Jung’s due date is this April, she is to take a break and focus on giving birth.
