Also, I heard a rumour that they had to re-record their Japanese single, because Jessica's voice was in it. If that's true, then it shows once again that Jessica never planned to leave until the next comeback was over. *smh @ people, who still think she wasn't kicked out*

yeah, that plus a lot of k-fans were speculating shinee's comeback for sometime between may and july as well, and there were also rumors for yesung making a solo debut in may and henry having a solo comeback in april. tbh, this is all so early, everything's subject to change, especially this speculated date for soshi's comeback. like exo's comeback was unofficially confirmed last november for january and they're not even set for one until late march now, so.

i dont know what to feel. i miss them but looking at how things are im not sure a comeback is going to be good. i feel that things seems incomplete with 8. but then, if they dont do any comeback what are they going to do, keep on doing individual work? they might as well just do the comeback, show they can do it and slay.

ia. jess was my second fave in the group but honestly she really didn't give a shit performance-wise and it got even worse last year. i was trying to watch their third japanese tour the other day and i couldn't watch it anymore bc jess literally wasn't even doing the moves. everyone was obviously tired as hell but at least they were trying?? when it wasn't her part/she thought the camera wasn't on her she blatantly did not give a fuck. now that she's not part of soshi anymore everyone seems to have conveniently forgotten that.

i have no idea what really happened but jess stans who think she never wanted to leave are kidding themselves imo. to me she was 1000% done with being an idol and being a part of the band. she seems to be much happier now doing what she loves.

I'm really interested to see how the change from 9 to 8 will affect the way the songs are sung. I'm HOPING that SM will give more lines to other members or maybe try to pair up people who don't usually sing together on lines/change arrangements, instead of making this a TTS & friends. As much as I like Jessica, I don't think her being gone will actually change things musically since it's been the TTS show for a while.

I'm really looking forward to it. I actually liked the Mr.Mr. mini.

This will be interesting. How well this album sells will basically measure the effect of Jessica's departure.
Can't say I'm looking forward to it but I'm also not grieving it.

All I can say is that I have general curiosity towards this comeback, and mainly for these reasons:
- How will the line distribution change,
who will get "Jessica's lines" (if SM is stupid and uses Jessica's backtrack like they did with Kris),
any "dramatic" changes to snsd's music.

plus it'll be interesting to see how everything fares about with jess gone and the fact they all seem really done with snsd. i think this will probably be their best charting selling album/single just bcuz fans will want to prove that ot8 is a thing
