for real, in btob even rappers can sing :p hyunsik's voice is usually overshadowed by eunkwang and changsub. even recently sungjae got some praise for improvement (he started out as a rapper lol) while it takes time to appreciate hyunsik. he doesn't really do adlibs or high notes but usuallly serves as a reliable backing for others. he can be shaky too, tho not as much as changsub or sungjae. hyunsik is also a decent composer, he's maybe not really that experimental but star (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0K1RtTyTig) is one of the best songs btob ever had.
if cube was smart they would make btob vocal line members release some sappy ballad at right timing and that would surely rise their profile. they nail singing 4men, db5k or noel songs, seriously. its a waste to promote them all with songs like you're so fly. they had a prerelease ballad that peaked at top5 on melon, wtf cube is doing

I completely agree. It doesn't even have to be an original song - they could just do a rearranged cover of a classic. (Ngl I would be on that in a second)
i legit pray for a cover album from btob, they would slay. they covers they do are sometimes better than original songs. like take's butterfly grave (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YR59_QZWFqI) they covered a few times to me sounds better. they harmonize so well ;_; when they covered urban zakapa's i hate you (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QwDHj8coUKo) on mnet show they made it enter the charts again...
I would love to hear them do "Love In The Ice". I would actually die if they did it. Either that or "Love After Love". Two of my favorite songs. I've already heard Eunkwang sing Love In The Ice.

Yeah, he really did. For pre-debut, Eunkwang sounded good. I mean, I knew he would because Eunkwang but, I'm still impressed. What songs did they cover in Japan?
smap sekai ni hitotsu dake no hana and lion heart, arashi pikanchi double, exile tada aitakute, ketsumeishi sakura, v6 feel your breeze (they do this one on every japanese concert haha), dbsk bolero and wasurenaide. i think that's all, not counting the short covers they did during japan debut, each memeber singing a few lines. for example ilhoon sang ullmetal alchemist closing song XD

I appreciate your BTOB posts. No one ever talks about them and it's a real shame tbh. They're so underrated and they're an amazing, talented, and hilarious group.
He's number two for me after changsub. Eungkwang's voice really rounds everything out for he group (and he's arguably the best stamina-wise) but there is something about his voice that isn't my cup of tea. Sometimes sungjae sounds a lot like hyunsik.
Mmmmmmm soooooooo lovely. His voice may not be the top voice in BTOB but I really love the smoothness and warmth in his voice so much. And couple that beautiful voice with him playing piano and I have hearts in my eyes ♥.♥ I could listen to him play and sing to me for days!!
