in korean class yesterday we watched "i am the best"!! bc we were learning about the word "jal." i couldnt believe it, it was like three years ago i first saw that video on tumblr and if i had never seen it i wouldn't have been sitting in that class.

some dude in my class tho was like "omg plastic surgery, they all look the same" and i was like... i can't think of any korean group that's easier to tell apart.

happy weekend everyone!

i'm in kind of a bad mood so probably i will go to sleep soon... an important exam is apporaching and i'm still haven't done much. not that i can find the motivation to do anything either... i feel so ashamed of myself.

i neglected relationships with my friends a lot this past two years and i realised we all became totally different people, we drifted apart. i really can't talk to them anymore, we hardly have anything in common... i have to filter my words and censor myself, it's tiring. not to mention when i came out to some of them they had a terrible reaction.
two weeks ago i deleted 50% of my "friends" numbers from my phone. i text a lot but it's always me who texts first and it's driving me mad so i decided not to make effort anymore. i tried to explain to them clearly what is my problem and nothing worked so...

on a light note, i've been considering buying a rice cooker. i'm a single person household and i wonder if it's worth it. i eat rice almost every day so it will be useful i guess.

Just wanted to say that I'm sorry and *hugs* Hope things get better for you. When I'm feeling down, I usually try to go to bed early too.... just because it's nicer to "forget" for a bit of time vs continuing the bad/sad mood.

As for the friends, it sucks. Unfortunately I understand a bit too, since I feel like with some of my friends we're drifting apart as well even though I've tried so hard to not let it happen. I always say friendship is a two-way street, and like any relationship, it takes work. One person can't be the only one putting in ALL the effort 99% of the time. Resentment will build up, hurt/anger etc.

So I found out today that apperently a coworker of mine at my new job found my Facebook and saw that I was bi and instead of either asking me about it or just letting it go she told a bunch of people and they have been gossiping about me at work for like a week.

Like I don't care if they know but the fact that they had the audacity to gossip about it at work where it's unlikely but is possible that I could lose my job because of it and will most likely now have to work 3 times as hard to get promoted makes me so angry. On top of that when I confronted her about it she tried to turn it on me and act like I was the big bad fucking wolf about the situation

This is random but thought i should share.
I was reading the latest post here about Jackson from Got7, the one where he said something like "i wouldn't like it if my gf went to the movies with another guy etc".
Now i don't agree with that, but what messed with my mind was reading the comments. And not even for the actual discussion at hand, lmao!
Like i kept reading how a loooot of the people were saying that going to the movies is seen as a romantic/coupley thing to do and i was like whaaat? Because we don't really have that here!
Granted, i see it's a cultural thing now, but it's one of those things that because they're not the most important issues in the world you don't really think about/question i guess?

Anyway, now i'm super curious does anyone have anything else that they took for granted in their culture/country and were "shocked" to hear it was seen entirely differently somewhere else?
