15& Yerin’s Instagram post attracts conflict

A recent Instagram post by 15&‘s Baek Yerin has become controversial with netizens leaving differing comments.

On February 19th, Yerin wrote on her Instagram, “(You) get it? Oh this picture is so funny. Keep this in mind (Be aware of it),” and left a photo of Adventure Time‘s Finn with a caption that read, “If I hit you seriously then you were dead.”

While it is unknown whether the post was directed at a particular person or meant as a joke, the Instagram post spread like wildfire on various online communities, receiving conflicting comments from various netizens who either shared their disappointment in her post or supported her.

Netizens who came across her post responded in various ways stating, “Looks like she might be directing the message at someone,” “A lot of people have already seen this I wonder why she’s not deleting it,” “I think it would be best if you took this off,” on the other hand, some stated, “Are people seriously criticizing this,” “I don’t think we need to treat this post with that much significance..”

alot of koreans work on the animation for adv time but i guess thats not very unusual lately but what's more distinctive is that adv time has a recurring character who speaks only korean, so i would think that would give it some appeal! they dont have to sub her parts hahaha. jk jk. its such a lovely show, everyone should watch it. tbh i thought she posted the pic cuz its rly cute? where BMO said he could kill jake with one hit (which obv he cant thats why its so funny/cute)

I wonder if Adventure Time is subbed or dubbed in Korea? Cuz like... how does Lady Rainicorn work? I showed it to my Korean friend in English and he was all "wtf? Did that thing speak Korean? Why isn't she subtitled?"

i imagine they probably have her speaking a language that not many ppl would know, to keep the same effect it has for the average US viewer. thats what they typically do in other shows... in futurama they had a gag about french being a dead language and in different language dubs they replaced it with whatever language would be funniest to local viewers

i looked this up a while back apparently in korea she still speaks korean but with some distorted effect. I think she speaks korean in all languages. I can tell you her korean in the spanish dub is atrocious
