He must be flying United through O'Hare. He might have had better luck starting at L.A. then going through DFW or ATL, but there's snow in the SE that usually isn't there, so they have no idea how to cope. NYC is fine and all our airports have been open except for a couple days weeks ago.

It's snowing in some parts of ATL right now so they've probably cancelled all of the flights, and it isn't supposed to get warmer again until Saturday (and his show here is on Sunday.) Which is especially bullshit because it hasn't even really gotten that cold this winter and now all of a sudden it decides to snow. I do feel bad for Eric; he sounded really apologetic even though it's obviously not his fault.

I am cursing Ticketmaster for making me buy another ticket though. I know it's going to be refunded but it's still annoying; just let me use the one I already have!

This has been a BRUTAL three weeks for the northeast US so I totally understand this. Bummer they couldn't even keep the southern/cali dates (unless there weren't any).

I have to leave my house at 6AM just to get to work by 9 even though my commute is normally 1:30 tops. It won't stop snowing T_____T

I'm in Chicago too and I wanted to die all day today. Not even going outside tomorrow, it's gonna be all delivery all day and letting my dog out the back door of my apartment building while I stand inside w/ the leash.

i know the northeast has been hit hard the past few months. it must feel like a routine at this point, so i hope they get a break soon.
i live in the south and woke up to a good 3 inches of pure ice on monday morning. schools across the state have been closed all week, lol.

Snow day today in the southeast US (I'm north of ATL)...but there's barely a centimeter of snow on the ground...but I love being off of work so I'll take it! :D

here is my warning to this entire community: if anyone tries to entice you to move to Chicago for WHATEVER reason, don't, or if you do, make sure that you have a plan of escape for the winter months, specifically February.

lmao you would not even need to be delicate to die. They're telling people to stay inside unless absolutely necessary cuz after about 10-20 min you can get frostbite on any exposed skin, and yet my idiot university chose to remain open for the day like ?????

I keep suggesting to the southerners I know to trade me spots so they can have this ~experience, so you know. Offer's open!
